My problem with the whole east coast not traveling beside their presence for competition is the fact that they can't see how awesome an event can be run outside of their back yard! In my short time of traveling I've been to EVO, NEC, SCR ,NCR and UFGT and out of all of those majors the ranking goes!
1. EVO 2. UFGT 3.SCR 4.NCR 5.NEC . I'm sure NEC will continue to drop down the list as I travel also because CEO is amazing from what I understand. If more east coast players traveled then they could see how lacking their events are when compared to others! If someone where to ask which event they should attend the last recommendation would be anything from the NE. If they traveled they would learn to Ask more of their TOs to build a more solid event! If your events were better we'd travel out to you guys more! Until then enjoy you overpriced Regionals/local or get some money and save up that vacation time to travel to an event that is on the level of a UFGT , CEO or SCR

its aside from so many regionals on the ec the only major they have worth traveling to is nec and even then the quality on that one is not as high as others from whats been said.

Also there's something that a lot of people don't get about traveling situations, which is sponsorships.

GGA+KIT sponsors or at least partially sponsors players to travel. FRQ/Hitbox sponsored players to travel to EC and UFGT. It's not that we don't want to or feel like we don't need to travel, a lot of us just can't. The only truly sponsored (not EMP) players in our scene are the RG guys, the best of whom is still a minor whose parents probably control where he can go more than him. If it were as easy as saying "Jupiter/Zyphox/Arma/Revolver/etc come to our tournament pls" we would do that, but it's not.

You mentioned NCR. My God you have Balls. But you only went to one east Coast event. You cannot base everything on the East Coast from one Event. That would be like me going to NCR for Injustice find out they dont have it and think that SCR is going to do the same. Even though the same TO may run an Event there is still room for change. Also i don't deny that the other events look cool. You don't think that we want to go to every event. We do. It would be awesome. But we just can't all the time. Just like other regions cannot got to all of our tournaments. So we go the events that we can that our outside of our area. If we are not able to then theres not much we can do. Also a lot of the TO's in the NE have been doing that. We asked for 3/5 and they gave us that. And they gave us more Xbox's so we can do 3/5 and have more casuals. Also How are our Tournaments Overpriced. Its the same as the others. Unless you do last minute. And our locals *The break* is only 10 Dollars. Since they are nice enough to not charge a venue fee. Something that not many places are willing to do. Its also funny how you mention NCR above NEC but then dont mention it at the end.
