Interactables need to be disabled for tournament play

You can turn them off online if you don't have someone to play offline

Edit: If both need to agree then I can't just hop online and play anyone like that, hence why I said I was willing to play an interactible-less set in case someone wanted to try it out.

I like interactables. Shazam has fun with them. Especially since the game and its players have adapted to the interactable usage. More people are backdashing, using wakeup attacks invincibility, or baiting their usage. Maybe make this for Injustice 2 or figure out how to get rid of OTGs in Injustice 2. Taking away something like interactables which makes the game highly more active and fun to watch seems like it would uneccesarily hurt the game this late.

Lol @ ppl saying its too late for this, last time I checked this game still had tournament life...I agree wit honeybee I wish NRS would hot fix interactable OTGS to scale greatly on hit, or just get rid of interactble OTGS all together sure we can MBC through interactables for lesser damage, but when ur dealing with chars like sinestro, zod, or MMH it becomes irrelevant...and losing to 40% combo into another unblockable 20% OTG or jailstate interactable is just enough to make anyone be like "fk this game". But knowing this community u guys ain't tryna give the option a chance, many of u haven't even touched the option...yet ur all against it until u get hit with that stupid shit in tournament, let's see how u feel then lol.

Let's be clear here, WE as a community control what and what doesn't make it into tournament play, because we are the motherfkaz who play the shit, tournaments and TO's are nothing but organizers, so if a majority of this community says yea let's turn em off, then TO's can't complain because turning them off is not considered something that would be considered as unfair or cheating...so I don't wanna hear none of this "its too late" bullshit. I don't even know why I'm wasting my breath tho...this idea will just go in one ear and out the other...you guys don't want it turned off, and doing so will open up a whole nother Pandora box of bitching and crying.

No, they will just say interactibles are hard to use and require skill, therefore they are balanced and add depth to the game lmao.

I can care less about interactables tbh, and I'm a KF main. I have little use for them and I dont mind fighting against them. Its a part of the game and has been tournament standard for over a year. It may be too late to switch it up.

Although, turning them off could shake shit up and would stir up drama lol.

Ive always thought they would be banned by the end of year one. Characters like nightwing would become alot better overnight. Plus the top tiers would have a "normalized" effect. Im good either way though.....DD FTW

My favorite is the little rail cart thingy on the same stage as the teleporter. Gadget and acrobatic characters get to ride it while power characters get to hurl that at you for free damage.

So u mean to tell me if I play a good set in tournament against a supes and we are on a stage like themiscira and I have like 80% to my opponents 20 but unfortunately get opened up in the corner for big damage into ice breath jump over standing 3 into interactable tree and end up losing my full 80, it would make me look bad that part of the reason I loser was to free ass unblock able damage, when I was clearly out playing my opponent? Lol

But the idea of banning or not banning interactables should have been of the first things on the list in the realm of competitive play. Bringing this up at this late in the game isnt ideal.

Actually I played it with Superman right after he got nerfed. We played a mini tournament to see what the game would play like and it was like playing Mortal Kombat but REALLY boring and unfun.

how can that be possible? game is nothing like mortal kombat mechanics/gameplay wise, even with the robots and giant ballz turned off.

One thing about interactables that I became sure of after ECT is, you all need to learn how to back-dash interactables.
A lot of the guys kept getting hit trying to jump away from them.

Level up, people.

Not all back dashes are godlike.

No stages are banned usually just guest characters that arent on all consoles, cas, and characters that are obviously broken ( hilde in sc 4)
