Well they've been covering him up for decades with nuclear "tests" that were really attacks meant to kill him.

They probably track him with geiger counters, I can only imagine how much radiation he gives off after being hit with countless for decades.

I saw the 5-6 minutes of leaked footage from WonderCon. Mostly made up of the scenarios we've already seen in the trailers.

father grabs her and runs as we see a huge wave approach
father sprints through a crowd inland
him and ten other people are the only ones smart enough to duck into a store
the group goes to the top of the building where they see a large form approaching
they scream as the military (who were also on top of the roof a level up) open fire

cut to a train on a monorail
white guy comforting Asian child
light flashes and we see a monster ahead on the tracks
the monster breaks the tracks
the car on the train almost falls off the track, but is still barely staying on
white guy slides down the floor of the car, almost falling off, but grabs a ledge at the last second
child he was with loses his grip and starts to slide off the car
white guy catches him

cut to a shot above an airport terminal of the monster destroying the tracks
cuts to the viewpoint of the people inside the terminal
we see a thud
a foot appears
the monster turns to face this new threat
Godzilla is revealed
Americans clap

I liked it.

Male and Female MUTO (Flying and Walking Creatures) wreck shop. Godzilla sees beasts wrecking shop. Sees them as threats. Wrecks shop.

I honestly forgot about this but Metal Gear Solid 3 referenced Godzilla along with a shit ton of other movies.

Gotta love how Big Boss questions if they will continue to make movies when Para-Medic points out 2004 is the big 50th. We're already on year 60. XD
