I'm glad to hear that they followed the Gwen Stacy death arc, I will be seeing this movie now. I hope that Black Cat shows up because I hate MJ, she needs to just die by his radioactive jizz already and yes that happened lol. Also glad to hear Jamie played a good Electro, I was skeptical but I'm glad he did well.

Unparalleled special effects, masterfully acted, however I did think that the plot line was muddled due to the overly abundant amount of characters. Overall, a great superhero film. Much better than most of the Marvel films being released as of late.

Jamie did a great Job as electro and Max.

Gwen's whole existence in the comics is pretty much she dies.

Jamie Foxx was really good.

Dane DeHaan was a decent Harry, I just want a Green Goblin that looks like Green Goblin.

Kinda like this,

I know :( but I still had hope lol.

And yes, I would love to see Green Goblin look like that

I liked the movie, and didn't dislike Jamie Foxx/Max Dillion too much, just didn't like him all that much either.

On the bright side, I did like Electro, and that theme he had.
I felt like He did a good job representing Max. Although i find it interesting they way they made his Character. If that makes sense.

I just thought he looked cheesy. I know he's supposed to look geeky and nerdy and stuff, but it almost looked comedic.

He was suppose to look over the top. Over Geeky, Over Nerdy. Cheesy. It makes for that awkward feeling. Fox did a good job. Although idk how i feel about them making him that Awkward. But it works. Also its better than him having his original Outfit -_-

It was godawful. Surprised that people actually thought this movie is amazing it's farrrr from amazing

did not like it. poor story telling and too much random stuff.

peter shows up at harry's and says... hey have not seen you in ten years but lets go though rocks together by the lake?

wtf is that crap? thats not how dudes act. gay. the story line and plot was forced. the good graphics didn't make up for the lame story.

ohh. gwens head bouncing off the floor was kinda funny... you just fell 60 stories and smashed your head... but you still look amazing and have a small drop of blood coming out of your nose. IRL... eyeballs pop out, head smashed and bleeding et cetera.

i just cannot stand that almost every super hero movie butches the characters true beginnings. the man of steel? wtf!!!!!!!!!! electro and eels?????????? NO! ughhhhhhhhh

The anticipation is killing me
Saw the film and thought it was ok, better than I thought it would be. It suffered a bit from trying to do too much but if rumours are to be believed that this film is meant to explode the Marvel/Spidey universe for more films (such as Sinister Six and Venom spin-offs that are in the works), then it was always going to suffer. Wasn't amazing, wasn't awful but I did feel the whole Rhyno scene at the end should have been left out.

I fucking loved this movie! The only thing I didn't understand is why they didn't give Rhino his traditional suit. I wasn't feeling the Armor, but other than that I loved every second of it. More than the original 3.

The Suit the Gave him Was the Ultimate Version of Rhino. This Suit is move Mechanical. It fits a more modern Style basically. So im fine with them using this version over the old Version.

Didn't like it.

The constant "make up to break up" thing going on with Gwen and Peter just weighed over the entire movie.

They built up through two movies the stuff going on with Richard Parker and when they show what it is it was just meh.

Max Dillion was great if not a bit like "FEEL SORRY FOR HIM, DO YOU FEEL SORRY FOR HIM YET?". Once he actually became Electro it felt like a waste of a potentially great character/story as he played second fiddle to Harry.

Why did the people at Oscorp stop looking for Gwen after she was searching for Max? If it was SUCH a big deal then, even if she quit Oscorp, they should still be looking for her. But no, next scene is here being fine going for her College interview.

Spider-Man kills Electro, Spider-man doesn't kill.

Gwen's death was less about Peter making a mistake that he could learn from but killing her through his careless web slinging and more that he just didn't make it in time which ruins a great character arc for Peter.

Really with that Gwen speech, really?

That kid easily slips past officers and even outruns one, OK.

Rhyno is a waste.

This movie was more about setting up future events than letting the movie be its own thing. It sets up: The Sinister Six, Felicia Hardy/Black Cat, Green Goblin, Smythe, potentially The Spot if what I noticed happens.

Got some nitpicky stuff I won't go into.

I do like Garfield as Spidey but not Peter, the reverse happened with Tobey. Also, if anyone lambasts Tobey for crying and praises Garfield in this then they're hypocrits as he teared up for, like, a third of the movie.

Harry was amazingly well done.

Peter/Gwen had a lot of chemistry, just didn't like the story surrounding them.

The Aunt May stuff was great with the whole "you're my Child".

Action/effects were great except the slow down/Spider-sense at times.

Electro Probably is not Dead. He will be Back. Also Thats basically what Happened in the Comic. He Doesn't have the time to swing down and get her so he shots a web to try and save her. And then the Web Grabs Her. There is a debate as to whether the Web Kills Her or the fall killed her. Later to Find out that Webs actually Broke her Back. Then in Future Installments of the Comics the Same thing happens with another Girl. But this Time Peter decides to Shot himself with his Webs at the Girl to Get her in time to save her.

But the fact that there's a question is the problem. There's enough doubt that it wasn't Peter that caused her death and that messes with the impact of her death.
