As far as I understand having only pre-reg is the best way to create nice pools/brackets.

As far as incentivizing pre-registration, maybe if you did not pre-register you have to give up a percentage of your winnings? It could go to the other winners or to the TO's maybe?

Having a pre-defined system for seeding and a computer is the best way to create nice pools/brackets. You just have to be willing to give up knowing in advance (i.e. before on-site registration closes) what pool anyone will be in.

To fully explain it you told me one thing and I had this conversation w bob smack and posted it here that says completely opposite of what u told me

I ask a direct question and u provided the truth so again where as I was lied to and made out to look like an asshole once by Larry regarding pre registration I now again post another huge f ing lie and political cover up style response from bob smack where in fact u just provided evidence his answer to #1 was a god damn lie and an easy political way out of saying the truth

The last two major tournaments that KN was there to run (and it was way more local than ATL) ran perfectly fine. Even TFC was godlike.
One bump at WB was poor khaotik and how he got sent to losers because a marvel TO sent him there since he didn't know him (while Khaotik was playing MK9 GFs). I got notified way to late about it and couldn't do anything.
Next time something happens like that I'll simply slip ten bucks out of my pocket, hand it to him and let him continue from his spot in losers. I just can't do much else.

NEC just had an internet issue, everything else ran fine.

I can't believe I'm trying to defend KN against you guys again. It sucks cause I was always cool with you pig since way back at NEC 2011, and I always had a special liking to the GGA crew ever since I visited back in 2012.

Things will be great when all NRS heads work together for the NRS Cup. That's a tournament we all gotta unite and not bull shit around.

Then there's a good chance I'll come back next year. Because without a doubt this was one of the worst tourneys I've ever been to. Everything @GGA Saucy Jack wrote is exactly how I felt. So many issues. And I was %100 sure I wasn't going to go next year. But with you running the show I feel confident it'll go well.

Hey guys, I realize there were some valid logistical complaints about the tournament that need to be improved for next time, but why discount the positives? I had a great time seeing old and new face and watching a ton of great matches.

Final Round is one of the most important tournaments of every year and I hope everyone considers coming back after hearing of some improvements. Shock's biggest mistake was trying to do too much by himself - run a stream, run the tournament, deal with the hotfix issues, and officiate. He needs more help.

That help would've been me if I could've made it to FR.

So....just so I'm understanding. ...Despite the fact that all the defenders have been telling the detractors for a week to "let it go, you have your answers, you're malcontents", we now are being shown direct evidence that the guy in charge flat out lied on his very first response? Do the defenders really still think the detractors have no right to ask questions?

1) sorry your cover up got exposed

2) the attempts to sweep this under the rug and then a lie coming out make me question everything else

3) There is no way this will quiet down without people finding the truth (as evidenced by the last week) so can we all stop bullshitting each other and just come clean? Making a bad decision is one thing. But making it, not communicating it, lying about it, and then getting found out, is a whole new level of garbage.

To clarify - I have talked to both Bobsmack and Shin Blanka about being in charge of Injustice next year at Final Round and they are on board.

I will be in direct control of the brackets and responsible for running on time. I will make officiating calls and work with the streamers to get the best matches seen. I will kick people off machines who shouldn't be there. Most importantly - I will get the best help and get the best people in the right roles.

I will not directly be in charge of who streams, what space we have, the schedule or how many setups are provided - but I will fight to make sure the game is taken care of. I have a good relationship with all parties. Injustice will have my undivided attention.

All of the issues pointed out in this thread and others are easily correctable - you just want to know there is accountability and leadership. There were too many assumptions and miscommunications during Final Round. You didn't even know who to talk to. That person will be me.

There is now a disconnect between the nation's 2nd largest tournament (by numbers) and its 3rd largest game (by numbers). I have heard disconcerting things on both sides, but let me tell you now - a split would be disastrous for both, and I won't let that happen. Let me bridge the gap. I can. I will.
