started this last night since I had to dip out and catch my plane early this morning

@AK Pig Of The Hut @Tom Brady because even when I fail to deliver up to my expectations I get to be entertained by the sheer intensity of these two guys that they carry to every tournament

@GGA 16 Bit @K7L33THA @GGA Slips This KTP podcast thing is kind of a big deal, literally motivated me to go to MLG and then to start travelling again to level up and more importantly enjoy the tournament antics despite not really having the time or money to do so, listen to it every day at work, had a stroke while it was gone, will always support this you guys

@SonicFox5000 for being broken, I demand an itemized list of the number of hours you spend online and in the lab for all the games you placed in at every tournament
@R.E.O. for making it out despite the world's obesity issues :REO
@JTB123 for talking forever with me about Ninja Gaiden, Devil May Cry, Arkham, Resident Evil, and a ton of other great games, oh yeah and Grundy
@AK Glass_Sword- Hollywood Austin still doesn't know who I am, despite seemingly everyone else recognizing me immediately and saying whats up
@Doombawkz- for being 3feet tall? Nah seriously, this guy is legit and should be given liberty to go ham on the forums again, my only complaint was he didn't give us a Blakestyle "MORE VENOM" after that super
@P2W Guy was totally courteous to me when I talked to him, I like his Sinestro tech and I'm certain he's going to keep performing well
@WoundCowboy for being a recurring talking point throughout the tourney, Its gonna be okay Sinestro's broke dude

theres probably alot more I need to add, will get to it later tonight if I can
Anybody who was there and supported by entering please add your shoutouts to the guys you met or got good games with, there are alot of good things to come out of this community for all its divisiveness at times, appreciate them here

@GGA 16 Bit man I brought the bane but I know you brought the hype. If anyone were to commentate it, I'm glad it was you.

@AK Harold , I keep saying it but thanks for being such a nice guy. The casuals were fun, the tourney was great, and you do a good job of representing the best of your scene both in and out of the matches you play .

@AK Pig Of The Hut , you've built a great community full of strong players and great individuals. You guys are what made the tourney for me.

@flipkev thanks for tolerating me on commentary. It was my first time and I was nervous but you brought the hype when I couldn't.

@Emperor DMS , thanks for giving me that push to play on stream. I never would've done it otherwise and I couldn't thank you enough.

@LEGI0N47 , @AK coolcmcgee , my fellow banes. Thanks for being there and lending me your venom.

@AK SaltFace , you are an honorary bane in my eyes. The mirror is retarded , but man you played it out greatly.

@Shock , despite whatever happened or went down, the tourney was awesome and you guys did great work. Hiccups are inevitable, but it got solved and moved on. Awesome work.

@KDZ thanks for playing me. Your WW is insane and I've never had to work so hard for a win.

@Noobe man you were rocking it (pun intended) and I thought you had it. Next time, man, next time.

@Lilith thanks for getting me wasted lol...

I know I'm missing a ton of people, but the entire tourney was filled with great people.

I don't think we played at all, but I want to get some games with your Bane at some point. I was the guy with the huge Reptile tattoo on his leg. Don't think we officially met, but I saw your matches, your Bane is nice.

Were we in the same pool? I made it out of my pool in Losers, but I think you were in an earlier pool.

Ok because I played a lantern... Named Tyler. And I was like "could it be...?"

My bane is ok, and I'd be happy to. Though as fair warning I don't have the copy for 360 yet so you might have to wait a bit it that's what you play on.

I'm on PS3 and 360. I think you played thetylergilmore. Yeah, that definitely wasn't me lol. You did great against his Lantern.

Yeah, I tried haha. Too much clutch and he didn't clash much which was great for me, but I still gave him some mad props and was like "I feel bad for whoever has to fight you next, they won't have it easy".

If your on ps3 we can totes play. I'll probably lose but I'll give you my all.

A special shoutout to Syknis - I enjoyed our set the most out of everyone, your footsies are phenomenal (for an aquaman player :p) I haven't enjoyed a neutral game war that much in IGAU ever. Your decision making is awesome, your reads are awesome, your spacing is solid, your adjusments were solid, I have a tremendous amount of respect for the way you handle that broken piece of shit of a character.

To everyone I forgot, I'm sorry thank you for hanging out with me this weekend, ggs, and I hope to see you all at UFGT.

Lost 3-0 to Rog in winners final of my pool. 2 of them were close
Lost 3-2 to GUNZ in losers final of my pool, 2 of the losses were sliver health difference time outs.
Only player I've ever met that had refused to shake my hand before and after a match.

Britani had to talk me out of drowning myself in the hotel bathroom afterwards. I was heartbroken. lol

Definite lessons learned and much to improve on though. No point dwelling on the past.

i had a great time at final round, but unfortunately didnt get the chance to play as many casuals or kick it with injustice peoples because i ended up running some sort of soul calibur 5 after hours nonsense. theres a few shoutouts i want to make though

shoutouts to anyone i made emo when i beat them. im sorry but you got hot dogged. dont think anyone got emo though so its all good

shoutouts to kombat network for streaming the event. its amazing that we get our own stream and we can get all of pools and top 32-8 streamed. its great that we have that luxury that most communities dont have and just have to hold that when nothing but top 8 gets streamed if they're lucky.

shoutouts to shinblanka for throwing an amazing event like always, drawing in international competition for multiple games and keeping the hype real for anyone who is a fan of fighting games.

shoutouts to 7L (7 Losses) for being a champ and driving all the way the fuck down to ATL

shoutouts to zyphox, indecisive and orochi for making the trip down a great time also

shoutouts to showtime for lighting me the fuck up in losers. that was the most hype ive been about losing ever.

Shoutouts to 16bit for being an awesome Catwoman and playing me in pools, it was awesome. I need to find your matches and link them to him.

Shoutouts to all the GGA guys I got to talk to and play like Saucy Jack, Vagrant, Pimpim, Jeremiah, Truth, Fill Pops, Wafflez. Super helpful and super friendly.

Shoutouts to the other Shazams out there like Digit, Indecisive, Sneak, Viking, and anyone I missed. Although I could only play Digit in the mirror in tournament, I learned a lot from watching you guys play and your advice. I'll make sure to check out your matches on the stream archives.

Shoutouts to all the AK guys and the ones who helped me prepare for FR. Major props to the guys that got out of pools and got top 8, showing that AK is strong.

Shoutouts to the guys I talked with most during the tourney like JTB, Griever, Greguu and Israel for just chilling with me.

Shoutouts to the guys I played in casuals, Doombawkz, King, Gweedo, I$aac, etc. Tons and tons of matchup knowledge and tech that I practiced and absolutely needed. It's unfortunate I couldn't do this kind of practice pre-Final Round.

Shoutouts to the KH guys for letting me chill in their room for a little bit before we went to Yomi.

Shoutouts to everyone I played at Yomi, they helped me learn a bit more about the game, I still have a lot to learn.

Biggest shoutouts to the tourney organizers (Larry, Shock), and the volunteers (Arma, Fran, DMS) and KN for keep the tournament afloat the entire way through despite a sea of technical difficulties.

If INJ and/or MK is back next year, i'll also be back. GGs guys.
