Crying for nerfs/buffs.

The whole thing with nerfs/buffs was "started" by NRS. Don't get me wrong, they didn't started this on purpose . They just unintentionally showed players how easy they can change moves properties, just like BANG! there goes hotfix changing startup frames, block advantages and what not. Seeing this it's just natural reaction that players crying for changes, they are just aware that NRS can patch the game like every week if they feeling like it.

Not everyone who's asking for changes is crying for them - check out the Sub and Noob forums. Their nerf/buff threads have civilized discussions on possible changes. Most of these changes are either nullified or modified by mature and factual discussion - not "crying."

Some people are just dumbass scrubs and don't know how to win with a said character, so they think of retarded buffs to basically give them an easy button. Just ignore the ignorance and try and be productive. Like King mentioned, the Noob "buff/nerf" thread is pretty legit and I try to derail nonsense as soon as it starts in there. The majority of people crying for these foolish buffs are online warriors anyway. Online warriors, cry for a NETCODE BUFF instead. That will fix a lot of your problems there.

Already people want a new game, it makes the game we have now look like utter shit. All I keep hearing is people say "we need UMK9!" What about the present?

You're absolutely right and I'm glad you see where I'm coming from now. I'm glad we have legit threads like the sub and noob one. But like D.R. said...online warriors are the ones who ask for these ridiculous requests and complain about KL the most because of his soon and they don't like how you can't hop on your pogo stick like every other online warrior and jump over him because of his spin. It's been nerfed to have less priority and WAY more punishable and they still want more. It's those people this thread is aimed towards.

DLC male is balanced. he just doesnt have any bad matchups and every tool in the game with no weaknesses. But you can just play better than your opponent to win!

So? Doesn't make him a bad character. Best Kano there was probably JTCircus and I can almost GARUNTEE if he wasn't in a STACKED pool (i.e. Chris G and JWong to name a couple) he would have made AT LEAST top 16. Kano is a great character and if perfect the way he is now with a punishable up ball.

Still the fastest projectiles in the game...they had to be nerfed and I play online and offline. They did a perfect job with Kano and is still a top tier character.

Also annoying are the people completely unopen to tweaks and labels everyone as crying for nerfs. You are right and I agree though a lot of people do cry for buffs and nerfs for no reason but equally annoying are when people make threads for legitimate tweaks for a character then people complain about people complaining bringing nothing to the discusiion.

Don't know what Magicman meant and i'm no Kano player but i'd assume he was meaning that the timing for his combos or something should be tweaked. Not sure how hard they are but I know the timing's trickier than most bnb's and I still saw some of what were meant to be pro Kano players dropping it often at evo.

As far as that goes....yes I agree with the timing off his b112(I believe) into his 212 should have more of a window to combo into. But damage wise...he's just fine.

ehhhh i don't know about that, especially since a lot of kano's game is played outside the rushdown. there's no reason to change something just to make it easier to execute.

Boss characters are supposed to be cheap as fuck. I'd count that as being fairly sacrosanct in the fighting game rulebook.

I mean, as long as he's not tournament legal, let alone playable, it hardly matters.
