Question Why do so many people think he's #1 or #2?

I dont see it. Obviously he's a good character defensively, however he's probably one of the easiest to defend against, just hold down, or back if you see back 2. He has no way to force you into a stand block without using slow reactable overheads. Fair enough if you eat a couple of them now and again, it'll happen, but it's not as if it's not possible.

His movement is terrible and he has NO means of getting off the ground.

The only option his F2 1+3 ender gives him is either dash in F1 (which 6f moves will still trade with anyway) or FTD. Everything else is interuptable. His 223 ender is probably better if you want to get a string out before you can be interupted.

Now I'm not sure if this is just me seeing the game through my own characters eyes, but I'm pretty certain defending against Aquaman is a universal tactic. Just don't let him hit you, not as hard as it sounds, at least compared to other characters.

I'm not fussed where people see him, but he's clearly not the best in the game.

It's not his offense, it's his punishes. He's hard to open up (great defense), and it causes a lot of players to take more risks since he is like a tank. Those risks are thrown out against a character that can punish A LOT of stuff.

MMH is definitely the best in the game if not next to the best. If we're talking bad match-ups lets change subjects for just a moment. Flash vs Lobo is definitely pretty tough. Granted Lobo isn't an easy character to use but I couldn't even get a pump-shot out last night without eating a full combo.

I'm telling you man, KF's d2 is so underrated. Beats a lot of shit and can even hang with Bats j2. Even if she trades with a jump in, she gets a slide from it a majority of the time.

I think the argument could be made that KF has a top 5 D2.

KF cannot aa Aqua's J2 or J3 when spaced properly. However, she can always MB F3 so that point is moot.

Aquaman is one of the best post slide characters, MB rush is a real pan of KF as well. Aquaman can get the life lead and keep it, same can be said for frost. This match could be even or slight disadv for aqua. This is a very close match, nothing says he for sure loses it yet. No KF had fought me in this version of the game where the mu looks like he loses. I am open to the opinion that "if a zig instead of zag that I lose the match rather than win" but thats what makes Frost so hard to do mu charts.

KF players base a large part of her mu's on what COULD happen after she hits you. Based on the mu, the more chances she she can get to hit you, the better she will do. The theory of KF would lead you to believe that maybe she beats everyone.. in theory..

Im still not convinced about aquaman being that good. He is top 5 imo, but people are still getting hit by his ''50/50''s a lot. I say why don't we start talking when people don't get hit by b2 stuff anymore(as an overhead).

hes got a nice trait and trident rush hits like 17 on chip lol.. and he cant really be zoned. but he does lack in the mix up department i agree with u there. (well compared to some other characters atleast)
