The moment I saw a Glacius player start comboing me by using an ice lance after I got caught by a hail mid screen I immediately thought of this:


Also, the way Glacius can combo off a mid-screen throw by canceling his throw into instinct-mode, than doing ranged auto-doubles is similar to how the Lex thow-opponent-into-mine setup works.

This is not true, glacius cant cancel his throw mid screen into instinct for a ranged combo. The only way this works is if you end the combo with a wall splat ender in the corner, then grab to mid screen (which is not smart) then youd be able to instinct cancel. Also the damage would scale bad so not even worth to try to break for the opponent. Its just not very useful more for swag purposes.

I don't want to argue with you but Glacius absolutely 100% can cancel midscreen grab into instinct to continue combos. I will post some footage...give me a sec.

oh, I see what you mean actually. I kinda mistyped it, I meant throw to mid-screen

I gotcha. I dont think its worth losing corner pressure glacius has some tricky hail setups there and actually has a mixup with throws, specially if u cancel into instinct

But the video above clearly shows that he can. Also if he could cancel his throw then they would be close range? Right? I am really confused on, exactly what you mean.

If you don't mean what the video shows then what are you saying?

NO what the video shows is he ending a combo in a wall splatter into a grab back to mid screen into instinct cancel into long range auto double. (Only possible when the ender is in the corner)

It's not showing a mid screen grab into instinct cancel into auto double (which is not possible).

These things I clearly said in my first post then he posted the video which shows exactly what I explained.

Gotta read bro. I hope you understand what I mean, this was my last attempt, much <3 though.

Ok, I can grab an opponent midscreen instinct cancel then continue ranged combos. Yes!!! I can do that 100%. I will post a video as soon as I can.

Me too, when I first read it on a dh forum thread I also miss read and spent 2 hours in the lab trying to pull it off lol.

I find it really annoying people that dont even know how to use Glacius or even play the game trying to tell us wedont know what we are talking about.

Well, I guess you guys are officially on blast!!! JK, but seriously this is really difficult to do and the main trick is timing the instinct then immediately buffering shatter-NOT AUTO DOUBLES!!!

Orochi, if I am not mistaken this is what you were saying Glacius couldn't do? However you could still be talking about something else.

edit: what you did was throw, instinct mode and then the unblockable ofc is gonna hit him but it still doesnt combo off the throw bc you cancel it with IM lol you are funny, keep it coming.

doing shatter will hit regardless bc its an unblockable so it doesnt matter if you activate IM or not. you just activated IM then shatter thats why it hit.
