Do u own a guitar?
Let's do a Skype video session
Nope, but my friend is willing to sell me his electric for a 100, everyone tells me to go electric since the strings are easier on the fingers, and it can sound like an Acoustic, but I was thinking of going Acoustic as my first guitar experience just because I am more of a solo artist type person in music when it comes to guitar, I do enjoy bands though. My only guitar experience I've had was randomly my friend teaching me how to play on this weird game called Rocksmith, shit was confusing, too many fruity colors, Lol.
I am just waiting to decide what I actually want to do with it before I purchase, but, I want a new hobby and am picking up an instrument, only music experience I've had was playing Alto Sax in Highschool. I've also heard there's electric guitars now with built in amps, so I can take them around and practice without hassle, been looking into them too.
Sorry this is a bit long, glad this thread was created though, Lol.
And a weird note, I feel more natural and comfortable playing with just fingers, when I use a pick, I feel like I'm not in touch with the guitar, I guess since you get no feedback to your brain because you're not actually touching the strings. But, I know pick is necessary.
