Tech Flash Tech Thread

I finally got to the point where I can add tech to gameplan.
I was trying some corner stuff and went for b22,LK(MB),32. It only does 27% , but it leaves them standing 90% of the time allowing you to follow it with low or overhead. was this known? is there a way to do this with SP? I been trying the mid screen resets, but they are not very reliable.

Yeah it was known, but in the corner its better to go for SEV reset with sonic pound meter burn. b22, mb sonic pound, b3, ji3, 32, standing reset done. Different combo, b22, mb sonic pound, f3, 32. There should be a thread with this reset called vortex something with b3 so look for that bro. In the end it comes down to landing it in match when it counts.

As for reliability of standing resets mid screen, its good to grind them out for future matches to add another layer to your Flash play, but so far try and go for the above combo I posted when you feel comfortable in battle.

Yes there have been posts on the reset the past 2 weeks, best advantage being +3 (really random) on hit while yielding a maximum amount of 30% damage, there's a thread on it too.

Great combo tho and nice post, still can't believe the amount of people taking Flash to the lab, makes me happy! Keep on looking for tech and post it up man.

This is just more options off the bread and butter for flash midscreen.

Wanted to see if I could use the double d2 into SP crossup tech in the corner would work midscreen and these were the results. Even works on small characters

I don't know if another way was found yet but I found a trick to get his traitless standing reset 10 times out of 10 with B2 from LK. Just frame your B2 after LK then D2 when they are at the lowest possible point for it to connect. Seems to give you good + frames too; looked at least +5 to me if someone else wants to check it out. I don't remember what the highest possible + frames were for that reset.

Great find SEV. I went back to test with substitute of using 3 from LK instead of b2 and found that it's actually negative 1. However this version is definitely positive on hit and actually easier to perform! Testing versus Flash I could not jump out, flying uppercut or mash out d1 (of course backdash can blow this tech up, but that can be baited).

Not sure if this is known tech or not but Flash can go into his F3 cross up set up in the corner from meterless combos for only 1% less damage: [Starter] Lightning Charge xx D1D2 D2 11 11 112. I'd post a video but it's pretty self explanatory and easy to do, so as long as you can confirm a hit into LC we don't need to waste our meter in the corner.

And if you're execution is glorious you can also go straight into 11,11,112 from d1d2 after hitting the charge. God I love charge combos/mix ups.

Here is a video with the tech that @AK Harold told me about with the Flash stuffing wake up attacks. There's a couple mid screen set ups in this video and a corner set up. I messed the D12 corner set up at the end but it is able to connect for a full combo. You can also stuff wake up attacks with pretty much anyone else in the cast I've been told, but I main the Flash so I took advantage of what was given to me. Also, not every wake up attack in the game can get blown up by this tech (Lex's Corp Charge, MMH's Psionic Push, etc)

I found you can also do the same standing traitless reset that @BoricuaHeat posted but with MB LC. Not sure if it will be useful for anyone else since people blow MB LC up anymore, but I sometimes catch people off guard with it.
