It's one tourney out of like two KI has been in at, not that big a deal. Having said that, can the few of you not see how this can be a problem? This isn't a fluke like not having a patch or hotfix installed, it's something in the system design that can halt the flow of a match. Players aren't gonna be happy and stream viewers won't if this becomes a problem. Who gives a fuck what console this is? If happened on the WiiU for Anarchy Reigns tourneys, it's still an issue, not just because lol xbone. Still 1 tourney, let's see how it plays out

Not the same thing.. Xbox pad is shit so that's why I prefer NRS games on PS3 but I do acknowledge the lag on certain stages....

Converters, Xbox Pad was never a legit excuse. It was fan boyism. PS3 lagges for both MK and INJ, god forbid you have to play on one of the old Fat PS3s, dear god, it's worse then online.

i've been saying this since the beginning. micro$oft is doing one of three things:

1) they advertised the xbone with all that restriction crap even though it wasn't really there so they could later pretend to remove it so the console will appear better than it is by itself (inferior to ps4).

2) they really did have the restrictions on the console, removed them until a bunch of people buy it, then then turn it all back on. (duh)

3) they really did have it on there to begin with and really removed it and kept it off, but that's boring and doesn't make sense.

right now, it looks like #2 is what's going down. fair enough they have to use xbox because this game is exclusive, but if tournaments are smart they will not use this console for touneys. sorry it's the truth. and why did it take 3 weeks to find this out?

Actually testyourpatience it's been discovered that this really isn't a DRM thing, the xboxes weren't truly offline, and the account that bought the game was being signed into multiple consoles to try and play the game at the same time from my understanding.

It's essentially like removing the disc after starting the game and trying it on another console, but digitally. Theoretically the duplication could actually be done if one of the XB1's was disconnected from the internet. So it's sort of more like #3, but that is way more boring basically.

So it seems (I could be wrong) that the Xbox that was playing the game bought by X account was hooked up to wifi, so when the same account activated on a different Xbox and tried to download the game it detected it as a fraudulent thing or some such.

This seems kinda sad.

Even though I am not a fan of xbox systems as whole everything turns into a fanboy war. Seems like a good game hopefully it will continue to be supported.

I like how some people come in this thread and ignore the explanations just so they can bash a system. It's been said several times and I'll say it again....Turn off the wifi. Also, people were trying to access the same account on multiple consoles or something. Stahp being silly.

I love how every KI thread basically boils down to

"my console has a bigger dick than your console", "poor people that can't afford an Xbone hate it because they can't buy KI", and "this game I've most likely never played in my life is terrible, good thing I don't own it" statements being tossed every 4-5 posts or so.

If the wifi (or any network connection) is on the bone will seek a connection to verify DRM on digital titles and if it fails so many times or for so long, it will eventually bail on digital titles. The "solution" is to just turn your wifi off and pull your plug so it doesn't try to talk to anything.

This is exactly why I said it honestly gotta be a bug in the system, its likely when good ol' Nelson flipped the switches for the DRM he missed one on teh way out the door I'm kidding seriously, but it seems to me like its not a return of DRM, just a bug, because if it works offline without issues then it what would have been the point of a DRM system that acts that way.

I always read up on a new console so I don't feel like a monkey pressing buttons.
The fact that anyone thought that leaving the WiFi set to ON would allow you to be offline is hilarious.

lol I am the same I read up on things before buying it or trying to use it, hell I this past weekend when I got my PS4 finally I had to read the booklet or I wouldn't have been able to find the damn power and eject buttons since the disguised the bastards so well.
