It's not that Injustice isn't hype. It's that the majority of the people and players surrounding it are still holding it to the standards or expectations of every other fighting game, especially MK, instead of simply accepting it for what it is. I don't know how a game with as much depth and destructive creativity as IGAU can be so constantly chastised and looked down on, while the just frame fighting game calculus that is SF4 and completely broken and overly colorful apocalyptic shitstorm that is Marvel are still as big as big gets.

To each their own, I guess.

Im at a disadvantage because I don't know much about mk's tournament scene. So im sure characters you named are controversial. Your also going off of majors, which dribirut didn't even specify on. Also take into account that mk is alot older than injustice... Sure mk looks more balanced than Injustice, but thats not what we are talking about. Injustice as its own game is pretty balanced if 50% of the cast are winning. Theres plenty of tournaments to be played in the future and that number can only grow bigger.
