The very second they lose an online set they demand the job of a developer and threaten to quit NRS games. You guys, Injustice should be booming after this last patch and people quite frankly should be willing and ready to fight for their wins.

Unlike MK9, you can pretty much pick any character and win. It's possible. Just because popular community members/leaders whine about an overhead teleport or a -4 slide DOES NOT MEAN you will not succeed in this game. Injustice players deserve better representation and leadership.

This game is deep...it's diverse...and it's unique. If you can't handle a few safe moves...then I don't know what to say. I've done just fine having to work and outthink my opponent. This game will do just fine.

I've barely, baaaarely been able to get in any decent playing time the last couple of months other than these last couple of days, and between Doomsday, Grundy and Scorpion, I did a LOT better collectively than I was expecting. Because - online and its woes aside - I've studied the game's mechanics and inner workings enough to know that, unlike in MK where being a Kabal or a Kano player was the difference between life and death, knowledge of the metagame itself is a hell of a lot more important than who you're going into battle with. There are still going to be terrible matchups, it's inevitable, but as R.E.O. tried to tell everyone quite some time ago, this game is a LOT more balanced and deep than most people are willing to give it credit for.
As far as things to do to hold us over until MK10 go, this is better than any of us would've otherwise been sane enough to hope for.

But my fucking god, do I hate Batgirl.
Is it just me? I feel like I can't possibly be the only one who wants to see this woman end up on the wrong end of Joffrey's crossbow. ( SwiftTomHanks )
I would honestly rather have to fight 600 MMH's, every day for the rest of my life, naked, upside down, and forced to listen to Chief Keef on repeat, than EVER run into a Batgirl in tournament.
Do you know why I have never had a problem with Killer Frost? As ridiculous as her design is and a much of a pain in the ass as it i to guess through her shenanigans?

Just out of curiosity why do have such an issue with BG, I main her and she all but unbeatable. Nearly everything she does you have to take risks and nearly everything she does is unsafe and highly punishable. I just wanna know your problems you have facing her maybe I can help do play on PSN or XBL?

Am I the only one here who is noticing that in this game, even though your options may be safe on block, there's a universal mechanic or some other negative on the move that makes it risky...?

It's not even facing her that's my principal concern. I just plain old outright hate her guts.
In a serious world full of ultimate serious villains and heroes, she's Angelica Pickles with a bat suit and some bolas.
She irritates me to the very core of my being. It's more a matter of personal preference than anything.

Its because ppl didnt have their name in MK9. Unlike some who came into MK9 with a big name from past games/MKs, a lot of ppl were new to the scene and were hungry to be known as top. Now in IGAU, ppl have their name as a good player in general from MK9 and no longer have that hunger. They have the status they wanted.

Problem isn't IGAU, its the people who play it. If it were MK10 instead of IGAU, we'd have the same problem and you would hear "It just wasn't as good as MK9".

Perhaps, but dont we need MK 10 to actually be here to make that assertion. Maybe MK 9 is a victim of its own brilliance and the only thing that can surpass it, is UMK9.

I'm sure no one thought SSF II could be topped, and then SF III appeared, with a completely new engine, new characters, new sounds, new mechanics and it was awesome. Then people thought that couldn't be topped, and look at the success of SSF IV.

MK 10 and SF V will likely appear on the next gen, and those too have the potential to usurp their predecessors. Look how nice KI looks. Imagine what can be done with SF V and MK 10 with hardware now available.

Of course not! I remember people going ga ga cause Final Fight and SF I characters were returning. Alpha was almost like the game that was "in between" II and III, even though it was supposedly set after SF I.

* In this game you have possibilities with any character against any other characters...
* There are no impossible MU's
* In is game everything is safe... Yes! But that's 1000 times better than having characters that are safe af and characters that every single one of their moves is punisheable...
* In this game every character has their own dirty... In MK9 Kabal, Sonya, Kenshi, Cyrax, Kung Lao... Had great ass tools while characters like Sheeva, Jade, Kano had NOTHING!
* A lot of people says this is a boring game, but i would rather 1000 times a "boring" game (personally i love injustice) and pick my favorite character than a game where if i use my favorite character i am bound to lose or win 5 matches out of 30 aganst good players!


Ohh & maybe NRS gave us MMH because people whinned constantly that "Injustice had braindead top tiers, at least on MK9 the top tiers were god tier but they needed a brain" ... Now you have your top tier who needs a brain to be played

Despite what you mentioned it has THE BEST meter system ive seen in any fighting game, period.

The game looks really nice, and so do the stages. At least some of the higher tier characters like Kabal, Skarlet require a high level of execution to be effective with. I think the game allowed a lot of characters to be fairly creative. Injustice seems to be all about landing that B3.

If everyone is so viable in IGAU, why do I see people only talking about AM, BA, MMH and Zod? There are input errors in Injustice as well.

I don't believe in those 9-1's one bit. MK 9 was never allowed to reach its full potential, nor will it ever, cause everyone dropped it like a bad habit. The same people asking for a MK revival are the ones that dropped it at the first hurdle. T Hawk in ST has gone from being garbage to high tier now, simply cause of the passage of time and how the game is still being played and evolving. I still think Skarlet is the best female character in MK 9, I think Rain is far better than people realise, and so on...but hey, we'll never know.

Every game has it's issues. I think Meter drain was the worst one, but what can you do. It was only until quite late that we discovered the Toasty Boost. I think some people act as if 100% of everything was found for the game and that was that. It's all a matter of opinion, I just think MK was a deeper game than Injustice.
