I have lots more fucked up childhood stories.everytime GS laughs i find myself in cringe mode, is that weird?
hearing K7 telling his childhood stories is my new fav bit
slips is like glenn quagmire btw
i knew theo was armenian like me on his old account which he ditchedI thought I was the only Armenian playing this game lol.
That's kinda why I like that episode so much tbh, not that everyone was emo, just that at the time MK9 was in such a great place, the 5v5 was hype as hell, the tournament was amazing and it felt like MK9 was unstoppable. That episode also has the legendary Swift Tom Hanks call out from 16 Bit, which still kills me to this day lolThats surprising considering how emo everyone was on that episode. Especially me
i think its more because its boring asking every damn guest whats your top bottom 5Seriously, am I the only one who thought this was uncomfortable to watch?
The hosts didn't treat Glass Sword like they treat other guests. They didn't seem interested in anything he said about the game and most of their questions outside the game seemed like attempts to bait him into saying something awkward or stupid to poke fun at. Almost all of the 'funny' parts were 16 Bit jumping on something awkward he said. How much of the podcast was spent with giggling going on while Glass Sword struggled to articulate himself and answer the question?
2 hours of making fun of the socially awkward guy doesn't make a good podcast.
I'm sure the response I'm going to get is that he knew it was well meaning and thinks it's funny too, but I'm not sure about that. Even if we presume Austin could/would speak up if he felt like he were being made fun of or pushed into something that's embarrassing, did you hear the part about why he doesn't sit down to pee anymore? Not because he realized it was the wrong to do it or the community encouraged to break a habit he wanted to get rid of or anything positive like that(because as funny as it is to joke about there's not any real reason he shouldn't sit down to pee if that's what he's comfortable with), it was because the community made him so self conscious about it that he had to stop. The community made him so self conscious he had to change the way he goes to the bathroom.
I'm amazed that no one else has said anything or felt like something was off
I think you're putting way too much thought into this...Seriously, am I the only one who thought this was uncomfortable to watch?

I agree to some extent. Its like they knew the wierd or awkward responses were coming so they asked questions that specifically baited them. It reminded me of in high school when people would invite socially awkward kids to a party just to watch them do and say awkward things (for their own entertainment)4x4lot: 1207712 said:Seriously, am I the only one who thought this was uncomfortable to watch?
