*This is by no means meant to be game breaking or used all the time. It won't sway match ups, but it gives you as an Arrow player another option for some damage in certain situations and against certain player types.
Been working on ways to punish wake up happy players. I've found this best used to try finish out games or first life bars if you don't have SPECIAL Arrows loaded and you are able to get pressure.
I'm still searching for better ways to land the D3, but this is a start.
Off F2D1~LowArrow most of the cast is in the perfect range to get hit by a D3. If you hit the D3 on the first available frame (or close to it) after shooting your Low Arrow, it comes out deceptively fast.
*Note: Most of the Floating characters avoid the D3 because of their dumb hitboxes by there feet not even being there. GLantern is the exception, his ass gets hit lol.
*Note this can be jumped out of and back dashed, it is up to you the player to condition them to either fear you finishing the F2D13 string or doing a B2 after F2D1~low arrow (this can also be backdashed out of but not jumped out of, and you have other options after hitting the B2(overhead).
*If they BACK DASH after your LowArrow most character are in a perfect range to be Jump 3'd most will be hit before they can block as well, and even if they block, you can follow up with F2D1 again.
AFTER YOUR D3 KNOCKS THEM DOWN:
Simply Jump Forward and do MB Dead On right before the peak of your jump. The range you are at after the D3 puts the peak of your jump arc right above your opponent. So even if they don't wake up, you can MB Dead On right before you pass over them or right after the peak of passing over them. With practice you can make this look the same to them and they will have to guess which way to block, left or right. Or if they suck, they will hold down and you will get damage and another Hard Knockdown.
Or they will try to wake up, and this move eats allotta fuckin wake ups. IT DOESN'T KILL ALL OF THEM!!! And I'm still testing all the back dashes on wake up, but it does hit a shit load of them as well as forward dashes.
BELOW IS A LIST OF CHARACTER I HAVE TESTED ON SO FAR,
Just remember, this is an option you have, that you can go for if you don't have a special Arrow loaded, or maybe you have been having trouble setting up your super so you try something they might not expect.
* THE B2 Option instead of D3: If you B2 you can do 32% unclashable to possibly end a round. Yes it's 3 bars, but if you have been fishing for super and can't get it, and this will end the round, why not do it. : B2~MBb3 , MBb3 32% (3Bars)
If the Low Arrow hits B2 can not be interrupted by even a 6 frame poke that reaches (tested this with WonderWoman).
It is hard, but you can actually hit confirm the B2 into ~MBb3 or just hit 3 to finish the string if they block it. you can buffer the Down Back input and if the B2 hits hit the meter burn button for the ~MB B3, if the block you hit the 3 and it just finishes the string. THIS TAKES PRACTICE. But B23 is +3 on block and opens up other options as well.
*Special Note: yes mash happy people will be able to poke and interupt the D3 with some moves, I haven't figured out the frames yet, BUT, like I said before it's up to you to condition them not to. your D1 after a low Arrow will stuff most shit anyone can do, MAKE THEM FEAR IT.
