Is anyone but me watching Love Lab? season finale this week T_T

my three worst:
1) Neon Genesis: Evangelion (shitty protagonist, shitty monster of the week style, shitty supporting characters, little to no plot development until it is forced in the last episode, even that is bad because of its fake depth, etc.)
2) Blood C (the first anime i ever quit completely)
3) Bleach (over 1/3 of all episodes were filler, protagonist lacks depth, constant deus ex machina, shitty early plot attempts scrapped for pure action, etc)

I got a friend trying to force on me to watch Bleach but I quit after 2 episodes. I already don't like Shounen Jump and I'm starting to hate it more and more aside from barely tolerable Naruto.

it's pretty bad if you're not a fan of the shonen genre. naruto at least has characters with some sort of internal conflict and there are subplots galore, attempted love stuff, main characters die, people dont beat enemies that are clearly stronger because of some random unwarranted power increase, etc. Naruto has its redeeming qualities, bleach has... a couple decent opening songs. I dont mind shonen (love dragonball z, LOVE LOVE LOVE One Piece, etc), but Bleach is bottom of the barrel in an oversaturated market.

Damn, I finally caught up to the Attack on Titan manga and Holy Shit!
What makes that series good? a lot of people have been telling me to check it out recently, but i havent had time. since this season is over though i'll be picking up a new show or 2. any thoughts?

Just finished Attack on titan. By midway into the show i really disliked Eren because he seems unreliable as a protagonist. For someone who's stated goal is to kill all titans i dont get why he isnt better with the gear and physically stronger after training for 3 years. By the end he just seems like a coward. Mikasa is badass, but is too worried by the end, when she's more commanding toward the beginning. Armin is my favorite character by the end of the show. overall 8/10

How the fuck is Eren a coward? Outside of the situation with Squad Levi, he was always there ready to fight the Titans, not one to run away. And he is good with the Manuver gear, it's just he's still relativley inexperienced and the Titans are monstrous. Read the manga and get caught up, Eren is one of the few not annoying shounen protaginist because he doesn't bullshit his way through fights, everything is a struggle which is good, it's a dangerous world and if he was just able to beast mode through things it would ruin the point of the setting.

You guys checked out 2 new animes Kyouka no Kanata and Log Horizon?

Kyouka no Kanata is similar to Monogatari series. Both protagonists are immortal and have to deal with the supernatural.
Log Horizon is similar to SAO. Where they are trapped inside a Virtual Reality MMO.

Anyone here watched the vampire d movies? They're the only real anime movies I've liked. I hear there s a huge range of books about D, were they ever translated to English?

So since we're in here talking about anime. Anyone know when the Pokemon Origin movie/series (not sure which) comes to the US?

^lmao

about pokemon origins, you can watch it online. Red and Naruto have the same voice actress :/
idk if it's subbed yet, but there's a lot of common anime-japanese used, so even if you're not well versed in jap you might still be able to understand a bit (i understood almost all of it).

I was able to watch the first two episodes and they were subbed. I didn't know that it was only going to be a four episode series though =(. There's so much more they could have done with it! Will we ever get the Pokemon show we deserve?
