Breakthrough MB STINGER SECOND HIT CONFIRMED FOR OVERHEAD!

Considering the fact that you can combo off of stinger in the corner, this move is damn near broken now.
you can't really combo reliably off it in the corner. depends on the character and the stage. The move is far from broken. unless it's like +15 on block or something, which we won't know until tomorrow,

It's nice that the move will be useful.
 
With the way GA can build meter, there almost is no "trade off" for super. If the move is +2 or more, it should allow for a d1 mixup on some chars. IMO, this move will be broken... The only thing I'm worried about is the universal meter gain nerf I heard about.

All specials that can be dash cancelled build less meter than before.
Ah sweet, well that doesn't effect arrow since he doesn't build meter off trait.

I guess we shall talk more about this move when we know the advantage, wonder if the frame data will be right, or if this will have to be tested.

You don't get it... You only get the overhead if you MB it. If you don't then you are still negative and eat a full combo.

This is pretty much a "get in for free move" but you lose your super so it's a good tradeoff.
I think the mixup being referred to is the "will he MB or won't he". If you think he might MB and you block high, you could be at risk for a low ice arrow.

you can't link low Ice Arrow off a Stinger, and normal stinger will be -15 on block. So even if the Arrow player does D1~Low Arrow after thats 22 frames after blocking the low stinger for the player to hit a button, most likely a low fast poke.

The reason people think this is so good is because people still can't block F2D13.

To block low the hold back really quick in case this is meter burned is not that big of a deal.

Where this will be nice is if you do know how to block F2D13 we can now stinger and MB for blocking Low high low high, which the player will have to know to do, or if the arrow chooses they can always cancel the string into an Arrow instead of Stinger.

PL tested GA stinger MB and it seems hellah + on block tbh. He didn't actually "test" it though, so not really sure how much yet.

i think stinger MB is at +7, i can d2 lex's corp charge on a reversal, but its hard timing it so i think it has to be +7 no more

im testing this at home btw

midscreen you cant really get much tbh, everything can be backdashed and jumped.

if you read a jump back you can b3 but obviously you will get poked out of it if they dont. or dash in d2 but damage isnt as good

out of range of a d1 follow up

what do you mean, hard timing it? like are you getting hit by him? or are you trading?

pffffff, I will flowchart into Super for the rest of my days. This changes nothing, just gives me something nice to end matches with if the opportunity should arise.

i think its a 1 frame window to get the d2 in to beat his corp charge, most of the time i get hit or trade

also, if i try to poke d2 is in range after the MB hit

f2 loses to jump back and dashback, beats neutral/forward jump. it seems f2 will beat counter pokes and will hit them on block IF they stand still, i tried instant MB and delaying the MB and it didnt seem like there was any difference, but this is at a glance as ive only spent 30minutes in the lab with it so i could easily be overlooking some things

i cant imagine anyone not dash backing this so i think we need to find ways to counter the dashback

plus training mode doesnt seem very good for this thing...i cant time anything properly, it doesnt record dashing in properly, normals after the mb slide....
