I find that combo almost impossible. B3 often turns into standing 3 due to input buffering. Can't figure out exactly when to hit with J2.

You need to hit the neutral jump 2 really late.

Yes just tried those two combos only in staff. The only part that you have to worry about switching to escrima is after staff spin but that's mostly for setups.
