She is amazing at playing the mother and was great in season 1 as a loving wife. Shes also amazing at playing the tortured victim wife.

Respectfully disagree. Go back and watch Episode titled 51 which she was nominated for. She gave a great performance in that episode. I have never really liked skylar, but she was amazing in that episode. I'm sorry but Betsy Brandt really hasn't had a great standing out moment on the show.

Yea well Bryan Cranston 3 emmys wins in a row, Aaron Paul 2 emmy wins, Anna Gun 1 emmy win, 4 nominations for best drama and they finally won that category last night. 2o14 emmys is pretty much a guarantee to all go to BB at this point. BB will go down as one of the best shows of all time, American Horror story probably won't.

American horror story has multiple people nominated in multiple categories for multiple season. Its been on for 2 seasons each of those seasons had more moninations than any other show BB included. The early reviews of Coven lead me to believe for the 3rd year in a row will have the most nominations. AHS in 2 seasons is already referred to one of the best shows ever.

AHS will win its just a matter of time. Each season is its own series 13-16 episode series = mini series. Best Movie/ Mini Series is a much tougher category cause every year hollywood heavyweight names produce something for this category names like Spielberg and Hanks.

With them killing Brock's mother and Jesse having to watch it happen
And Walt no longer accepted by his own family

I think there are two elements to this. At this point in the story, we ultimately have two characters with Walt:

- Walt (Family)
- Heisenberg (Ego)

You can see Walt snap in that interview with Gray Matter where Elliott and Gretchen are saying that Walt's contributions to the success of the company were nothing aside from the name.

Then when Gretchen is asked if Walt is still out there, she says "No, at least not the sweet man we once knew."

In Walt's mind she is essentially saying "He is no longer the doormat we once knew."

I think it's been obvious from Season 1 that an element of Walt's motivation is a lack in satisfaction of his life and a desire to provide so much more, and a belief that he is capable of much more.

There are several underlying motivations towards why he did what he did, this scene in particular snapped him out of Walt-mode into Heisenberg-mode.

The phone call with Walt Jr. was Walt-mode, and his motivations/intent were to provide for his family in what little way possible given his current circumstance (fugitive in hiding, unable to reach out to civilization while he has a death sentence with cancer). Walt was ready to give up until the Gray Matter interview brought out Heisenberg.

There were glimpses of heisenburg mode way before he cooked his first batch of meth. The flashback to when they bought the house spells it out for. Why am i the only person smart enough to have been saying this since early in the series. The phone call to Walt jr wasnt walt mode it was the same selfish mode he always had which is my property isnt prospering better remedy the situation by any means necessary that doesnt hurt me. If he wanted to help his family truely help his family hed of turned himself in like Saul told him to.

I like how you assume that because all of your shitty opinions are that of a unique snowflake that they end up being brilliant. You are unable to fathom a scenario where everyone understands what is actually going on but you. In the normal world we call that ignorant and stupid. Everything you say is contradictory as fuck.

Everything i say is correct and coming to fruition as we speak. Walts recent actions prove without any doubt what ive said is correct. Vince Gilligan agrees and thats all the assurance i need.
