I know me and you were bashing some Marvel movies the other day. But I do want to say, that I honestly believe that this year's Thor movie will be one of the better films. Looks much grittier, has a great director (Game of Thrones guy), and the story looks bigger and more compelling than the first. I remain cautiously optimistic (after all it's a Marvel film). Hope I'm right. What do you think?

I'm kinda done with MCU after IM3 butchered Mandarin but I'm going to see Thor: TDW.

I'm just going to toss that out there: Dead or Alive 5 Ultimate is extremely fun. Super glad I played this and bought Momiji, that character is a blast and a half.

It's really neat how, after a few sets with people that also don't know how to play the game, you get a sense of the footsies and proper spacing and everything. I once thought being able to counter during a combo was a bit much, but it just opens another level of mix-ups. Probably the first 3D game I've played that I considered very enjoyable.

So I'm not alone in the DoA world here. I play a very scrubby Ayane since I have 0 fundamentals and knowledge of that series. I seriously like playing that over injustice. Man I wish I had the full game right now, I'm dying to try out Kokoro ;_; #Broke

I'm also in the "this game's definitely more fun than IGAU" camp. Don't get me wrong, Lobo is a super fun character (and the only one I find enjoyable to play as out of the roster), but oh jesus christ in heaven Injustice is just stress-inducing. Especially with the Main Man's faults. At least with DOA5, there's no obvious broken shit and it's a completely different learning experience because it's 3D and the hold system. Plus, the game pretty much teaches itself to you pretty fast.

If you're looking for info and getting good at the game, I suggest watching some of Emper0rC0w's videos on the game, they tell you pretty much everything there is to know about the game.
