A huge problem of Bane's is the amount of damage he takes. The venom buff offsets the damage he takes on debuff which makes him stay alive longer, which is what grapplers need. This is almost the equivalent of a health boost. A very good buff for this character archetype.

He didn't need a get-in-free buff, he needed a don't-die-for-being-myself buff.

I wasn't asking for both, I was just trying to clarify because the main complaint has always been the damage on debuff. No one was asking for a damage reduction DURING trait.

Yes i agree , this is basically an health buff but if we take the matchups he loses in the current version of the game they don't change that much wich is why i'm hoping for a some nerfs in the top tiers department ( and fixes like Flash MB LC on Bane ).

I still gotta see myself what the Venom uppercut buff means , i'm sincerely hoping it doesn't get too safe as it's basically a shoryuken when Venomed.

F2d3 buff i guess it's ok?

So his trait became Aquamans in a way? So while being comboed you can activate to level 3 and reduce the damage by 30% and now have lvl 3 wake up game.

well there is a drawback, if you are playing against flash and do this, my combo last forever and then i put you into a guessing game, if you were to get baited on your wake up and you miss you will eat an even bigger combo for it. also against killer frost if you guess wrong after going level 3...... GGs.

People keep saying "This wont solve he or she's problems"...THATS UP TO YOU

I hope they do buff the crap out of characters but hopefully give no one a jail free card so we can actually see players who are good versus who just suck

Agreed but at the same time thats only vs Flash.

So, SO glad it wasn't a charge cancel.

That said this venom change sounds scary. Can't wait to see how this turns out. I like that instead of reducing the risk of Venom, they just increased the reward even more to make it worth it.

Damage reduction boost is obviously the big one here. Not sure about the other 2.

Infinite crisis boost might be decent at tagging people trying to backdash and punish F2D. If frames are close to even on block, it could even be used to start pressure with venom.

I have no idea what the venom upper boost does, other then possibly screw up the timing of people trying to punish it on whiff.
