The injustice Hate Mail Thread (Foul language)

I'm pretty sure my fellow Hawkgirl player Eric will love these. I played a little bit of IGAU and used Hawkgirl to practice my timing in an online environment. I ran into two different players that whined about Hawkgirl.

I bodied this dude's Zod with Hawkgirl easily in our first match and I barely won our second match during which he picked Catwoman. The first game wasn't laggy by typical XBL standards but then the second fight was laggy, making me think he was using a lag switch. He sent a message before choosing a rematch.

Random Scrub (I'm not typing that stupid name again): "luck"

* 3rd match, he goes hidden cursor and I go random wanting to troll him, I get Joker and he chose Aquaman*
* I barely lost after doing nothing but crossup ji2, he leaves afterwards, I respond to his first message*

Me: "How was I lucky? I beat you twice with Hawkgirl, a low tier character."
Random Scrub: "low tier?? she is one of the cheapest on the game..."
Me: "How is a character that relies on gimmicks to win due to having bad normals and low midscreen damage cheap? You should be embarrassed that you lost to HG while using Zod, which is nearly unwinnable for HG."

I chose Hawkgirl and he picked Black Adam after I chose HG. He goes full screen distance from me and just tries to hit me with Black Magic and Lightning Strike the whole game, so I stay in the air and do Mace Toss since he crouch blocked the whole time. He calls me a bitch and I tea bagged in response, causing him to quit. I sent him a message

Me: "HA HA HA!"

Me: "You sound like a salty scrub that just lost to a low tier character while using one of the best characters in the game. Replay the tutorial and learn what an overhead is moron."

Hawkgirl gets away with a lot of cheap stuff online simply because it is hard to punish some moves in lag. She can mash d1 out of any situation. Some characters can lower their hotbox to avoid and then punish her mace charge, but I have yet to do it consistently online.

*sigh* Yet more hate against Hawkgirl by some scrub. I used HG in 3 of 5 matches, winning all of my matches as HG. He used Aquaman, Catwoman, and Manhunter in that order. He only beat me when I was trolling with Lex and Joker. After I left to watch the Redskins-Steelers game, he bombarded me with messages complaining about spamming (which is Numbskull speak for "zoning") and Hawkgirl in general.


Me: "What did I spam exactly? If I did spam, then you should've been able to beat me easily, especially with Manhunter. Practice and learn how to dodge Mace Toss and neutral jump Mace Charge instead of whining."


Me: "Go close quarters against Aquaman and Catwoman the whole game as HG? No thanks, I'm not in the business of giving wins by being stupid. You're not as good as you think you are if you lost to supposed spam."


Me: "If I pressed the same buttons repeatedly, how come you lost best of 5 against me? If you practiced, you wouldn't have eaten my WE2 combos and ran into maces so carelessly, which is why you were zoned out."


Me: "I was clearly trolling with Joker and Lex by tea bagging mid-fight and doing ji2. You couldn't handle my main character with even your main, so your opinion of yourself far exceeds your ability. Practice instead of being a crybaby."


Me: "35% of your second HP bar isn't a large majority, which is redundant by the way. Zoning and dealing with zoning is a real skill. People won't play by your arbitrary rules, so deal with it instead of complaining."

I fought some guy who picked Deathstroke and zoned literally the entire match for two matches. He told me he only did it because I used Bane, who is a terrible character. I fought him again about a week later in player matches, which I beat him 3-1. He complained about lag being so bad, I can get away with unsafe moves. He called just about every move I used unsafe. He said I was the biggest joke he's ever seen online.

My pal BolshyDuck must really hate zoning since this hate mail was date and time stamped over 12 hours after the last one in my previous post. I hope the poor kid didn't lose too much sleep over being zoned out by Hawkgirl (who has terrible zoning BTW).






This putz was bandying around homophobic and racial slurs during a set yesterday because "only [ban incoming]s armor up with Lex." The only reason I played 4 games was because I kept getting declined and wanted to get the Super Move daily done quickly. He eventually hid his cursor and chose Flash, because "You can't run away from Flash to armor up like a [ban incoming]." He rage quit that match during my Super because I laughed at him on the mic since I literally threw Close Mines and just back dashed the whole match since he stupidly charged and landed on them upon my block.

After that beatdown, I get this

Talk all the shit you want the fact you hid your cursor only to end up pickin the cheapest spammer in the game let me know in the beginning i was dealing with a snake.

The closest to hate mail I've ever got were along the lines of "spammer". Unless you count the time someone sent me a message reading "that was mean"...

I pick DS, opponent picks batman. I proceeded to zone and win the match. I get a message saying "spam man I expected better".
Second match, me as DS again, but they switch to Martian Man, which seems like an attempt at counter picking. Obviously I don't zone without care like I did against his batman. The first bar of meter I get I use on his teleport with MB b3, I go into the vortex and win the match with almost no zoning.

Me, "I hope I lived up to your high expectations"
Them, "f*** you"

Made me smile. :)

Moral of the story, don't talk shit if you can't back it up.

Got this message after i won with Nightwing against a Joker. We both had around 40% health remaining, i jumped and he caught me with his super, i had like 1% left and still beat him.
Then he sent me this lol:

I played a guy the other day, and beat him with 5 out of 6 of my mains before he left (Bane, Zod, Lobo, GL, and DD) he sent me a message for every character i played.

After Zod: "Cheap ass combos" (Ok i thought zod was hard to play but ok)
Afer Bane: "Way to spam [ban incoming]" (didnt know he could spam? well learn to block double punch lol)
After GL: "Same combo spammer" (Block low and i'll have to switch it up lol)
After DoomsDay: "Noob ass character" (Fair enough i guess but a little late now lol)
After Lobo: "Fuck you [ban incoming]" (guess he had nothing to say about Lobo xD)

I'm not sure if Ajuiceman is on the site. Number 1 player on PSN with about 13,000 games played. All he did was talk shit on the mic and cry.

This is the worst one I ever got. After I beat him he sent me a message saying I was spamming, he couldn't handle Zod's zoning, and I did several combos on him too. Then when I said he needs to learn to handle zoning he sends me this: "thts y ur black u stupid [ban incoming], go pick my fuckin cotton" exact quote. I'm not even black tho.. And I left and blocked him after that. Some people on this game..
