Indeed.

So, that reminds me... Who the balls do you main? I get mixed signals from you.
Wonder Woman

I play Grundy Heavily.... but he just isn't good against the tippity top.
BTW... I was wrong about the Bane Grundy MU and would like to officially apologize. I played someone with a brain.
diff. thread/story tho.

I figured.

Also don't apologize. A good grundy is a tough fight, and theres always more tech to be found. You never know when you'll find something that'll flip the scale entirely. I watched Tyrant, and it made me reconsider as well.

I have played a lot of banes actually. I think I have played Bane most out of everyone else in the cast lol
But have you played any of the ones that are actually in that upper area of the Bane chain? I've played plenty of Catwomen but if we had to base it off of that it would probably be a 8-2 in our favour just off of my experience :p

LOL.... rushdown characters with no real projectiles don't blow out Bane.

most of the worst MU's involve HG, Superman, Black Adam being on the good end.

jump back 2 is better than any projectile in that mu. And her 3 hits twice so she doesnt have to respect armor pressure at all. Her jump arc makes it very easy to jump charge even from relatively close range on reaction and punish with catdash.

I have played chief713, Error, and massterandcommande and a few other ones from what I recall.

I don't know; haven't had enough experience against high lvl players. I've played a few games against KH Starcharger and it feels like a bad MU for CW, but I doubt he knew how to fight Bane so that's probably skewed.

I body most CW I run into, even the competent ones. But I did fight a CW once that literally just stood about 3/4 screen and did the whip sweep every time I tried to dash in and up whip every time I tried to jump in. If I did charge, she'd jump over it and punish with MB cat dash into full combo. I think we played 10 games and I only took maybe 2. That was a while ago and I've gotten better since then. Even so, I'm still not sure whether or not it's a bad MU or if I was just inexperienced or if that guy was just a flat out better player at the time.

With such little exp, I don't think I have a solid opinion on it, but no CW I've ever played has made me feel like it could be the worst MU in the game.

Maybe I am wrong.. we shall see. No bane has ever presented an answer to the three things Cw has going on for her that I mentioned above yet.
I didn't wanna say it, but Double Punch beats all of them. Unless you are doing your kick on reaction in the few frames you have between us inputting it and it landing (5 frames or so) Double punch will rip her out of jump back and the jump expecting the charge, and beat the 3.
Also, body press will do the same I think.

You could be the CW player I'm thinking of as I've only ever lost a set to that one. We can play again (or for the 1st time if that wasn't you) sometime and see how it goes.

well if I am at close range where double punch is a threat all she has do is 3 ( hits twice nullifies the armor) I dont have to do it on reaction at all, you just do it. Out side that range jump back 2 dominates. Its only after a knockdown where double punch becomes relevant really but good luck getting it.

Yes, but you have to do the 3 understanding that if we use d.1 you take the knockdown. We don't have to use just armor, we have low-frame start-ups for our knockdowns and once you are down that's going to make the problems obvious. At the range where your jump gets stuffed by the double punch, you have to make a much more dangerous guess than we do. Are we going to d.1 DP which the jumps avoid, or just DP which the 3 stops but the jumps can't? You have to guess fast, because if you block we get a free command grab too. :p

ya but you gotta get in range to do the d1, you arent magically gonna be in the range and getting in the range is the whole issue. People are used to dashing in and throwing out moves from what I have experienced. This might be a good strategy for online play but trust me anyone with a decent reaction time can react to you dash and answer appropriately. Getting in the proper range to be a threat is the whole issue in this mu imo.

You realize the range at which you are effective IS that range, right? You don't have the means to effectively keep us out, and we can cancel our dashes. Plus its not that hard with how good our dash actually is.

wat do you mean cancel dashes? Dash no matter how good will get blown up , if people are doing dash into a normal. Easy to react to. Just watch Rico play. Thats how he gets half his dmg, people dashing in and throwing out normals thinking it's a good strategy. What bane has is that he can do an armored move that comes out on the first frame unlike the universal armor via his trait, that kinda makes this a good strategy but like I said she has a safe 2 hitting normal.
And anyway, I have said my view, no point in beating a dead horse. I could be wrong, but time will tell.
