I agree. Honestly, I hate those too lol. I mean.... some changes are good, some are bad. I guess I'm just tired of having to relearn things. It's whatever. If they think it'll help the game, sure. I personally like the walk speed, it's unique, but I will play either way.

I wish that was the case... the only one that this falls under is the Atlantis interactable and maybe a few others. For most if you are half screen away, there isnt much you can do with most characters other that try to avoid it. It's a free, let me throw this out and maybe I get lucky tactic without much consequence which frankly is what injustice meta is all about it seems.

all gadget corner escapes are punishable, some can only be escaped if you're not over jump distance

i find that odd, considering NRS explicitly stated that they put those in so u could AVOID being kept in the corner, not give ur opponent free combos

You need to make a read to punish corner interactable escapes, so they still serve their purpose without making cornering strategies obsolete.

It's fine. The game needs time to evolve. There are far too many buff/nerf threads instead of characters being properly broken down and fully explored. This game is so new.
 
With Sagat and dhalsim, I think capcom followed a simple common sense rule- the more space a character controls, the harder it should be for him to control his spacing. It's a good rule, and nrs tried to apply that to green lantern.

Makoto is something else, lol.
Makoto is kind of a weird experiment, a character with really good mobility but an absolutely crap walk speed. She compensates with her insane dash, dash punch, dash cancels, kara throw, and her air axe kick. Essentially she's like Flash or Doomsday, relying more on advancing specials and other mechanics to move around other than her walk.

Increasing walk speeds can do wonders, it's so annoying that 90% of movement in matches is dashes. The dashes are great in this game, but it is retarded that these superheros/villains walk as slow as my grandpa.

I think things like Random Button changes mid match and input drops for MB moves need to be addressed BEFORE anything like Walk Speed. Also, the game just slows down OR crashes on occasion even offline.

It is too late for this imo. Increased walk speeds would make zoners like Sinestro almost totally useless and they would have to completely rebalance the game.

Except they would also increase back walk speeds, making it easier for zoner characters to control space.

Unless of course they just increased forward walk speed, and didn't increase backwards walk speed. I'm sure they can do one and not the other, and given that in this game you hold back to block, it wouldn't be a good idea to increase backwards walk speed. Maybe they could increase backwards dash by a little bit.

People also have to realize that zoners have a lot of advantages in this game. Pushblock, meter builidng, clash etc.

Back dashing is better than back walking as it has invinc. frames, so I dont know about increasing that.

The key things is that walking should be a bigger part of footsies. Right now it is mostly moves and dashing. Walking opens up a whole bunch of options like whiff punishing, baiting an attack, and forcing a reaction(THose are in the wrong order but w/e)

Makoto with fast walkspeed would be the dumbest thing in SF. I wanna see it so bad.

But yeah I wanna see walk speed changes *Stressing changes, not buffs or nerfs* for chaacters that fit their playstel and take character strengths into account.
