i actually got love mail from a cyborg once! he said something to the effect of:
"man, when you picked HG, i was like, lolololol. And then i saw how mobile she was! holy shit! ggs!"

I have BnBs for every combo starter and will continue to use them. I never considered this a problem. Is it my problem I had to use Batman's F3, J2, B2, Air Grapple because you kept ducking?

I get a ration of crap as well for playing Hawkgirl and other unpopular characters. Some doofus sent me hate mail the other day for winning by using only uncommon characters. I mopped him with Hawkgirl, Lex, Cyborg, and Raven before he rage quit during an inevitable beat down after he tried to counter pick my Hawkgirl with Batgirl. He had the nerve to call me a [ban incoming] that didn't know how to play because I didn't fly with Hawkgirl during the Batgirl fight. I just told him that I'm not going to be dumb so that he could win.

Don't you love the double standard by the IGAU community at large? People always cheer on common characters in KOTH and Survivor lobbies but spew vitriol towards people that use rarely encountered characters. People have no one to blame but themselves if they don't know a MU.

Verily, to be fair, I do get slightly annoyed when people just pick new unused characters every round.

If anybody wants to hear and see some HILARIOUS shit, find a match with "Sughadaddy86" on xbl. And just pick the same character over and over. regardless of whether he is winning or losing, you will hear him screaming such things over the mic as:

"OMG PICK A DIFFERENT CHARACTER! WHAT IS THIS BULLSHIT? YOU JUST PICK THE SAME CHARACTER OVER AND OVER UNTIL YOU LOSE? THEN YOU PICK A DIFFERENT ONE? FUCKIN BULL!"
and
"IM NOT GONNA PLAY UNTIL YOU STOP PICKING THAT CHARACTER!" and his character will just sit there while you keep hitting him. Fun fact though: if you make your character teabag, he'll get even MORE pissed off and scream MORE profanities! and then try to fight you again!

and when i sent a message explaining, that hg is my main, and i'll like playing her and i don't wanna switch. he replies with such things as:
"WHAT ARE YOU A FUCKIN PUSSY? CANT USE ANY OTHER CHARACTERS?"

and then i finally pick joker, and win with him as well, and he just ends up rage quitting.

i sent a final message saying, "well that was entertaining to say the least. ggs! :)"
he sent one back saying: "fuck off bastard"
