If anybody is going to rocked, it will be me, i only have online experience with this game, i only play sub because this is the only fighting game i ever decided to take seriously and i am still very new to the whole thing, i play on xbox with a pdp stick so unless there is somebody with a 360 to ps3 adapter, or somebody is willing to let me use a pdp stick they have, i will get bodied lol, but its all in good fun and i am still crazy excited to meet you all

I'm in the same boat, only online experience and first fighting game taken serious, shoot I haven 't played a fighting game since mk4...If you want we can play some online matches together, even though I hate playing sub zero lol.

I pm'd n0rdic about this, I would be willing to bring a 37" tv and an xbox. I have all the DLC and both of my controllers are charge and play with evil d pads so you won't have a problem using the d pad since they are separate buttons. So, you would also be able to use your stick.

I plan on getting a ps2 controller along with 360/ps3 adapters when they are available from xtokki since I've heard others aren't worth buying.

and i can pick anybody up as long as they live less than mile or 2 from Harry bird Hwy (route 7 i believe) however i will be that guy who will charge you for a gallon gas (sorry but i may need it)

I don't think you guys should worry about "getting rocked" to much. =P Like I said I have quite a few friends who will be in attendance as well, a few of them are looking to be tournament players and as such are constantly working on their game. However most of them are just interested in MK as a game and play more casually. So you should be more then OK in that department.

As far as set ups are concerned we'll definitely have 2 and most likely 3. One will be on the projector and the other 2 will be on HD TVs. All 3 setups are going to be on PS3s however, so if any of you are looking to play on a 360 you may want to bring your own. If you want to bring a TV as well more power to you but don't feel obligated, we can just hook the 360 up to one of our TVs.

Just as a note however if you're looking to get into the competitive scene you may want to get used to having to play on a PS3, they're universally used at all Evo sanctioned tournaments and as a result most minors/majors also stick to PS3s exclusively as well. Since you use a stick once you get a converter for it you'll be golden. =)

ps3 or at the very least a converter is up there on the purchase list, lack of income is just preventing it from happening

You will be missed Blackula! As long as everyone is generally respectful of his house and home the host will likely allow me to organized more events in the future. Perhaps even incorporate some of the VATR crew as well. I will be seeing you at As/Salt however!

I just ordered a wired ps2 controller, ps2-xbox converter and ps2-ps3 converter. I should be set for any future competitions

Hell yah you're more then welcome! I'll forward you the same message I sent everyone else. =) I wouldn't worry to much about bringing your PS3 unless you're also going to bring a monitor/TV. Def bring the sticks though! And that goes for everyone actually, if you use anything other then a generic PS3 controller bring it! We're all pad users so do not have any sticks to supply anyone, nor do we have an specialized pads. Just the generic PS3 pads and a single PS2 pad.
