Thanks to everyone who came, we had quite the turnout over all! =) Awesome seeing everyone from SCB again and always happy to meet new faces! This will definitely go down again in the future, worry not! The host had a blast as well and he thanks everyone for being respectful of his home.

And sorry we couldn't get a lot of the tourney matches recorded, the projector only takes HDMI inputs, and my PVR only does component output. His amp has a built in converter from component to HDMI but when we test it there was a very obvious delay. So we set up the PVR on the normal TV and it worked fine, but none of the tourney fights got capped. My apologies all! Even still we got pleeeeeenty of casual fights capped, I'll work on getting names edited into the videos and getting them uploaded tomorrow.

And again, thank you all for the hugely successful event! =) Now I'm tired as shit, so goodnight.

Lemme know if you need to borrow an HDMI in/out recorder. I've got one at work and while it's not really mine it belongs to the IT department so I just need to ask the IT officer in charge to borrow it. Since I am the IT officer I don't see that being an issue I haul it home off and on, if it's a weekend I can't see why on earth someone would try to use it at the office.

I can land one frame links in HDR with it, granted that's the game I play the most of, so I feel pretty confident it doesn't add much, if any, lag to it.

That would be awesome! Again my PVR is a Hauppauge, a lot of people use it and I'm sure plenty of people can vouch for the fact that it doesn't add lag. Converting from component to HDMI was the main issue, so the next time we do this if you could bring that it would be awesome! That way we could record off the projector. =)

I've worked through some of the vids, gonna try and get through the rest tonight. We've got quite a few. =P

Hey everyone, just wanted to let you know, the card shop I play at in Gainesville hosts casual matches in all sorts of fighting games on Wednesday evenings starting at 7. I have not been yet, I just called them to find out about it, so I am not sure what their attendance is like or how many setups they have (and how many are dedicated to MK). I think I am going to check it out next week (the 21st) if anyone else wants to come out. This could be a nice place to meet up more regularly without imposing on your guys' house and hospitality all the time and I bet if there are enough ppl interested they might consider running a bracket.

Yeah lol, that's us.

Ryan (Mysticism) usually brings his PS3 for an MK set up, then we have around 3 or 4 other setups that belong to the host with some combination of AE and Marvel, and usually 1 or 2 other people bring another set up as well (SF3, soul calibur, tekken, etc.). I also bring my laptop with KOF XIII and other old school arcade games on it.

Creeps check the NOVA/SOVA thread, after dropping you off you're next to right up the street from some of us, ie 10 mins. How far are you from the subway are you? That looked like EFC, I'm in ROS. I'm debating going FIOS again, right now on a gimped DSL connect, takes one call to fix that.

Everyone else, creeps is fucking GOOD. You should play him.

This is my first time using any video editing software, I now know that just because the spaces show up correctly on the preview doesn't mean they will show up correctly in the final, it will not happen in the future! I had a lot of fun at this, I will definitely be there next Wednesday. I never got a chance to play flip, but gg mysticism had some good matches with you. *croses fingers* hope adapter comes tomorrow so I can get use to ps2 controller on 360. I will definitely be bringing mine next time.

To the CFAS guys - I wanted to get out there tonight, but the boss said he would be online to get some work done with me at 7 eastern... so I had to be online... and waited until 8 eastern anyway lol.

Can't say for sure I'll be there next wednesday, but I'll definitely try again. Really want to play some more MK.
