Another thing, do not attempt to do this reset in the corner because GL will not auto correct in enough time for s2 to connect to the reset. AK Pig Of The Hut what do you think about using the b1 reset in the corner?

Shoot them. Shoot them all.
You play Hawkgirl, ms flying in the air the whole match with safe on everything moves, come on you 7-3 KF and destroy supes. Gtfo Runway lol
First off, I never stay in the air...second of all GL is so delusionally top tier...quit downplaying.

It's a nice conditioning tool if you notice someone is waking up a lot trying to beat your mix up's when you have no bar for a meter burn b or f 3 . Something to take of note is after watching the use of the west coast mix up after a MB Lantern's might seams to be pretty popular of late. The Jailhouse reset is no longer a true otg off a f3 but it still can oki on a b1. I think the jailhouse reset now should be used with a slight pause to allow the opponent to get up and see if he's stand blocking or crouching. But the standing 2 reset is nice it stuffs wake ups. You just get no real mix up potential off it which limits the amount of offense generated after spending a bar.

To sum things up. Using the original Jailhouse reset is still viable you just can't be predetermined in which dash under option you use. Also there is a certain window with in the dash under frames where you can delay slightly to stay on the same side and catch the person already blocking the cross under version of this mix up. B1 is still a solid otg you just have to practice the frames in it. Basically put if you are going for a mix up off the jailhouse reset sometimes its best to kinda sit there and see how they get up off the ground before you load the gun and pull the trigger. Also if you are using b3 with meter the + frames allow you to jail some what with your choice of F3 or a B1. Tbh there is a large array of frame trap potential which I haven't see many exploit yet in tournament matches. I plan on making a video of options sometime for green lantern I've just been very busy with my bachelors and various projects so when I have time I just play games. I should stream and I don't even remember to do that.

If you would like to help me out AK Pig Of The Hut I would appreciate it.

He is a good character and there is more depth in his tool set. The main issue with him that prevents him from being completely S+ is his mobility on screen and his B13 string not being backdash able. those are just some of the holes in his game.

This is a good addition to the jailhouse reset which will destroy wakeup happy players, i'm looking at you batgirl, kf, hawkgirl. Hopefully we get our dash buff soon.

I never down played GL, he is very good character, but thats cause his is very well rounded and has option against most if not all of the cast. And second I was not saying you stay in the air, but most Hawkgirls do, and there a lot of characters that dont have an answer for this, Ironically enough, Killer Frost one of the most hated characters in the game, gets destroyed by Hawkgirl and the same with Superman(Well Supes doesnt get destroyed). And most people dont see the amount of risks GL takes becasue his risks are covered up by things like Minigun and random lifts, and OR but if played right GL really isnt that bad. Annoying?: Hell yes, Strong?:Very much so, Overpowered?: No not at all, the reason why GL is "SO" dumb is casue no one, want to play patient and just wait.I mean he's going to do a random lift eventually after all, he's GL so its coming you just have to wait for it, and to be quite honest his zoning is rather fraudulent, after all if his Zoning was so bad, he would lose to Raven, Cyborg, and da da da da!!! Superman!!! and its like THTB said, you dont gotta care about that shit casue boobs and wings bro.

I find this to be only slightly true, hear me out. The main point of this is to condition the opponent to stop waking up. Once they understand that they will be stuffed and reset they will commit to blocking and thats what you want. Since holding down is the default way to block in this game most people once they have been conditioned will block low out of fear of being reset. Once that happens you gain your f3 option back. After you have made them understand that blocking low is also a bad idea, then they will block high, thats when you gain your b1 option back. Of course you have the always irritating and demoralizing throw. There is also the option of doing some turbine follow ups such as f2d1, f2, b1. Those two are also mix ups plus there is b13 close rockets for a frame trap, and there is f2d1 ORMB for yet another frame trap.

This is good shit. I messed with this for about 20 min just now. Its a tad tighter timing than the original pre patch OTG but that does not matter. The entire point is once again GL has a way to force opponents to get up blocking and respect his pressure. This frees up all the previous options GL lost after the last patch. You will sit there and block. You will respect 2,2,3 OTG and you will have to start guessing B1 and F3 once again.
Somebody buy this Kyle Rayner guy a beer.

well here's a small tidbit if you get them to fear the overhead and wake them up with the 22 string you can force them to block a oa's rocket with a mb frame trap in it. If you can confirm 22 OA on hit you can burn it for a F3 follow up combo for around 40% or so. So in a sense there is some slight mix up potential as far as making them fear F3 and at the same time respect the 22 stuffer. All in all this is good tech and it can lead into some interesting frame traps once they respect the standing 2 reset. I'll post a video of the stuff follow up into combo shortly.
