Slips lost to AK Harold's Flash, I believe. I cannot blame him for losing a 7:3 match though.

Nobody has done anything with Deathstroke at CEO or Evolution. This character is laughably overrated.

So we just make excuses for other players and dismiss Aris as having done "nothing" with the character? Since when did Top 16 become nothing?

Dunno about which Greek players you are talking about, so i ll just leave that subject. I havent played against NW with the latest patch so you could be right. My point was pre-patch NW who was fucked up. I dont wanna reach the point to counter-pick just to win against NW man. Pre-patch NW won easily against DD. The problem wasnt his staff pound, it was his d1 spamming fest. DD's trait wasnt helping him at all and in general after the d1 spamming you had to worry about 6 options NW had after 4 d1's and DD didnt have almost any answer about them.

MB shoulder charge is +9. This gets you past anything NW can throw out in staff and is likely to set you up for body splash options on wakeup.

DD walks all over NW with little to no risk both pre patch and especially post patch.

If you're losing to NW it's because you rely on d1 earthshake entirely too much. Did you really think people wouldn't learn how to block it after 3 months?

Aris is the best and highest placing Deathstroke player at the moment. I am giving credit to the player but not to the character, which makes you Deathstroke fan boys angry for whatever reason.

Aris hasn't practiced since the buffs to wakeups.

I'll acknowledge that Deathstroke should NOT have been nerfed, but to say the character is incapable of making Top 16 is just wrong.

I never said Deathstroke was incapable of making top 16. I only stated that he was the most "normalized" character in this game.

Its not like deathstroke only got nerfs, he also got somethin in return, so the character doesnt have to revolve completely around 1 move.

What he received in return did not compensate for what he lost.

Trust me, i am perhaps the only DD out there who mix up his ES with other strings as well. Tell me then how does DD walks all over NW.

And btw MB Venom is not +9f on block. Its +6f and even that is not entirely correct. The true frames are probably +3 or +4f on block. Believe what you like but plz stop down playing NW.

Yeah, Injustice wasn't hype for the top 8 at EVO. But the pools were very hype and entertaining, and every other tournament has been hype and entertaining. The top 8 was just 90% boring characters and super lame play, just happens sometimes.

So you have to get in honestly at some point, like every other member of the cast. So many of Doomsday's combos and specials work to punish opponents into the corner. Where you just need to earthshake > dash > earthshake > dash to reverse wakeup inputs and apply free pressure.

none of doomsdays frametraps work after venom except d1, after which his pressures over

d1 rapes doomsdays trait and doomsday in general

33 does not loop

nw zones and builds meter fast in general, if you pushblock ex venom its ggs, only way dd is building meter is via getting blown up
honestly, from a month of talking to rico on xbl i havent heard of an occasion where hed ever pick doomsday or know anything about him
