That speech he gave at the AUW the other day was epic.

I agree. Huntsman was probably the most viable option the Republican party had for the general election. They missed out on a huge asset for their party. I hope for their sake that he is at least considered as a running mate for the eventual nominee.

Santorum is one of the biggest bigots in modern politics. He's only supported by the American Taliban aka hardcore Christians. We don't want to turn into Saudi Arabia, only a minority of truly loony people do and they can't win on their own.

Romney is a corporate crook of the highest level. Who's plan for the future is "fuck anybody that doesn't make their money in stock scams, and lower taxes on the rich", he's also imploding as his lies and history come to pass.

Those are the two that are running. And short of an externality (the Euro crashing, Iran staring a war, Israel starting a war) the majority of America doesn't hate minorities, non Christians, women, gays, the poor, the middle class, teachers, or firemen enough to elect either of those two.

Gringrich is running to sell books and raise his value in Washington. Paul is running to spread the libertarian word and doesn't even care about winning.

I don't like either side, but there's a reason the right has this perception of being bigotted or racist. The family values guys still push for it dispite being caught having affairs. Voter id laws are being pursued in the south and mid-west, which impact studies suggest affect minorities the most. The religous right doesn't exactly have a clean record either, bombing abortion clinics for example.

I like a lot of the thing republicans SAY they want, but they screwed themselves aligning so closely with christians and other groups that aren't exactly known to be tolerant.

I do think Obama is a bit too socialist as well, but honestly there are a lot of dems in Congress right now that by comparision make him look moderate.

First of all, Bill Maher called Palin a dumb twat while doing a comedic piece (what he usually does). I also think Palin is a dumb twat. Limbaugh called this woman a whore during his daily news commentary program. This is a direct reference to the context of the birth control debate. There's a clear difference there. Also, as Jon Stewart said last night, comedians DO get shit for bad things they say, look at Michael Richards and Tracy Morgan.

Albeit he's a self-proclaimed "comedian first and political commentator second", Bill Maher should not have called Sarah Palin a "cunt". Rush Limbaugh, on the other hand, is a renowned conservative commentator whose influence even affects the Republican Party. Given his influence and profession, he has no business calling any woman a "prostitute" and a "slut".

I treat the Daily Show for what it is. A liberal satire that is heavy left wing. Although they could just play some of the clips and show how dumb republicans are by themselves(Yes, I do have a problem with FOX network, but not most republicans).
I exaggerated the 30% in reality it is probably about 10%. And of course Fox doesnt bow down to Obama, THEY ARE RIGHT WING. And the problem with Fox is they twist things out of proportion, albeit left wing media does the same thing.
