Injustice Arcade Machine Project...Thoughts?

Well, MK1 didn't come with plexi from the factory. MK2 and up did. I've actually never seen original sticks with the dust washers on top of the plexi/control panel. The wood underneath is routed out to accommodate the washer.
I've seen pictures with it on top, but wow. On the next stick I build I may have to do it that way.

I also noticed you mount your joysticks pretty low, is that how the original cabs were also or is that just a preference?

It's how I've always done it. With the Happ Comps, there's no real way to make them sit higher unless you use a thinner wood.

Ok, on my sticks I do an inlay under the control panel, for the joystick housing. Which I had no clue if the cabs were like that or not. I kinda came up with that on my own. Thanks.

Did you get the info you needed from the Jakobud plans? Do you still need parts numbers for the latches, etc? I doubt they would do you any good as they aren't manufactured anymore. I just bought these for the Injustice project and they worked great...

Cool I'll take a look at that. I think I remember posting something about cam lock latches a long time ago, when LizardLick went down I couldn't find the part anywhere else. I did end up finding a place that sells it.

I still had to fabricate a hook, but the cam lock + latch works perfectly on my UMK3 stick. I have all the parts sitting for a MK2 themed stick, I've been talking about building it forever. Hopefully this summer.
