EVO expected to sell out in 24 hours, MK sign ups rumored to be low

In my experience helping w promotion of any offline tourney or online tourney I'm always reminded that we have a community that procrastinates like no other

With that being said warning signs have been all over twitter recently, was a huge talk a UFGT, and we all discussed how the bitching will ensue as soon as it's announced it's booked and sold out

If you haven't registered yet and you miss out on Evo please refrain from making threads, crying, etc etc because storms and Tim have done everything possible to keep you guys informed

me and denzell just registered yesterday luckily, also for the pot that WBput up for mk9, it would be disappointing if there were only like 200 ppl there.moh well, it will be at the faults of those who procrastinate.

Man I wish I was able to go to EVO. Damn well to the people who plan on going you better sign up. Lets get MK numbers up high for EVO this year.

I'm honestly not expecting EVO to pick up MK9 next year, we'll have to wait for MK10 to be able to play MK at EVO again after that.

Honestly, I go to EVO because it is a great experience every year. Watching all of the top fighting game players from all over the world. Participating is nice too.

I think tourney's will start having lower turnouts here on out. There's just too many tournaments for a small community such as mk to keep up

i think ppl just arent sure.. and are not willing to throw out 80 bucks to a unrefundable event they might not be able to make last minute... and it selling out too soon makes things more difficult.. to be honest they shouldnt have sold spectator passes and saved those numbers for competitors only.. if theres like 300 spectator only ppl there.. thats 300 mk players that could of been there instead..

but since i won this weeks tournament with the nice $300 pot bonus and turn out.. i went ahead and registered, even though im not 100% sure if im going.. cus i rather not end up going last minute and be out 80 bucks.. than to find out i could of gone but i didnt register in time..
