What majors were Theo, Slayer and KDZ attending with Superman during these 3 months for his brokeness to be on display? Yeah, my point exactly. Or are you seriously implying pre-patch Scorpion was better than pre-patch Superman? All of what happened at CEO simply means that Scorpion needed some time getting use to fighting against due to the back-to-block mechanics, not that he was extremely broke (keep in mind CEO took place after the initial fix to his flipkick and MB tele). Again, anyone who complained about him were A) complaining about their own inabilities to adapt to him originally (and that's not to say that he wasn't really good. He was. But you're kidding yourself if you don't think part of why most players initially struggled was getting used to blocking against him) and B) own up to the fact that they also should have been lobbying for Black Adam and Superman to be nerfed around the same time. Period. You can't act like it's no big deal Scorpion was swiftly nerfed while Black Adam and Superman were allowed to make a mockery out of EVO top 8. Sorry.

I don't think you understood what I said. The point was that even Superman, as the most broken character in the game, with the braindead f23 meta, didn't make 3 appearances in the same major top 8 until the world's biggest fighting game tournament months into the game.

The very fact that you'd compare Theo, Slayer and KDZ (3 of the absolute most dedicated mains, who had been grinding their char, playing locals and training for months) to 3 guys who picked a character up a week and a half before a major is ludicrous, and proves my point.

Hell, @GGA pimpimjim had a history of beating Pig's Kenshi. Maybe the only 3-7 was Kabal? Either way, it just further proves my point about how right I was.

That vid is very misleading. Whenever you meterburn your wakeup moves in MK9, it adds an additional like, 20 frames or so of invincibility in an actual match. But in practice mode, it did not. It was a practice mode bug. So that vid is just straight up wrong lol.

I can agree to that, and that is why I stressed it was besides the point. :p

Also, I posted the vid since we're here just because it reminded me of all the talk of Sektor beating Cyrax in early 2012-ish lol. Cyrax's D4 crushes most, if not all of Sektor's mids, and even in a real match, Sektor has to be cautious of using EX TU for extra invincibility on wakeup since (robo) Cyrax's teleport has invincibility on startup and will put it in a ball roll upon hitting the 'invisible wall'. Krayzie has done this from time to time with his corner setups. Not chastising you or anything, it was aimed at the nets/bombs-only Cyrax players.

Ya i use Shazam. I've meet you in real life and played you before. :p. And i gave you pokemon. Dam the hollywood levels are high right now. DS Shazam is in DS favor btw. :p

We met at final round. Its understandable that you forgot me :p. Hehe. FT5 $10. Pop Offs are good with me. You locked on DS, Im locked on Shazam. Loser can change the stage. Double random at start. You HAVE to use Kabal Skin DeathStroke

Well if I use that costume I won't be at full power, Teen Titans DS is my best :D I agree to those terms tho lol

Well it's not completely untrue. For example, Frost's inescapable 70% reset is a non-issue because it's way too hard to execute outside of practice mode.

It should only be used if it's genuinely a just-frame. None of this 'MMH's combos are difficult' BS.
