Guide General Zod Community Combo Guide

After Inspiration & Influence from Maximilian's Combo Video:

All Tested on Superman, of Course ;)

ji3, 21, Close Ground Blast MB, Dash, 112 xx Zod Charge = 39%

j3, 11 xx Close Ground Blast MB, Dash, 11 xx Phantom Zone Strike MB = 41%


The following combos (impractical though they may be) came as a result of trying to get ji3, F213 to connect after the Ground Blast. I figured what the hell, and used Trait to connect it together...
These are timing specific in two ways:
1. You have to begin your jump as the PZ Monster appears, basically right after you hit Trait This could be applied after a hard knockdown as a mix-up involving what I'm estimating will be many unblockable set ups using the PZ Monster. Instead of doing an unblockable, you just go for these...
2. The second time you hit trait, you have to wait for the opponent to bounce in the air so you can ji3.

Trait, ji3, 12, Close Ground Blast MB (wait for opponent to be in air a bit), Trait, 123 xx Phantom Zone Strike MB - 50%
Trait, ji3, 12, Close Ground Blast MB (wait for opponent to be in air a bit), Trait, 12 xx Zod Charge MB - 51%
 
The best thing to do with Zod when your opponent is caught by the trait grab is do the Haters Gonna hate walk toward your opponent and finish them off with a simple combo into mb phantom zone :cool:

If you can't make it out because of the quality it's (trait active) j2, f213, T, F213, T, Super
Alternatively, for more meter efficiency, you can do j2, f213, T, F213, T, 112, bf2 MB(or bf3 MB) for 47%

Hey Grunt I know this sounds kinda shallow but could you give me creds in the OP? I've never really contributed much so I never really got credit for anything so it would be cool for me :)
I posted almost all of the best meterless/traitless combos on the second page this morning and kept them relatively organized to ease up your job.

Downloaded Zod this morning, but I found a pretty good combo, being an overhead/low, I tend to land it with ease online:

Ji-2 ' B12 xx DB1 MB ' Dash ' B3 ' Ji-3 ' 123 xx BF2 (41% Damage)

Here are my bnb's so far

Midscreen 1 bar:

F21U3 xx Slow DB1 > J2 xx DB1 > Dash 12 xx MB Close DB2> Dash 123 xx BF3 41%


AA meterless:

D2 > J2 xx Slow DB1 > J2 xx DB1 > 123 xx BF2/3 (29% with BF2, 28% with BF3)

Corner meterless:

F21U3 xx Slow DB1 > J2 xx DB1 > J2 xx Fast DB1 > F3 > 123 xx BF3 42%

I have no idea what that means, I've only played Zod for like 10 minutes haha. So I should take the "MB" off all combos that have db4 in them?
Haha sorry I should have been clearer, the only one that should change is the Trait Combo where it starts off with DB4 or DF4, EX Ground Burst. So for that just put Fully Charged Ground Burst or something. This is the only time you can combo into a Full Charged Ground Burst just because the Wraith holds the opponent for so long.

Also the FCGB launches them for a B3 combo if you're still confused.

How do you charge it?
Hold 2.
There's the no charge, which stuns them for a bit.
Then a half charge, which knocks down.
And then the fully charged that launches for a combo.

Also the more it charging, the bigger the Hitbox on the blast. You can also dash cancel it when you're charging.

Any timing tips on getting the last two 3's to connect in that Kickball Loop you guys came up with. I can get the starter, and two 3's but after the second the trait always whiffs.
