What "dont" you like about the game so far?

The voices are kind of low. I had to go into the options and lower everything but voices. Batman's stance is boss. Don't know why people don't like it. :16Bit
I think they adjusted the head alittle bit to face downward but it looks fine when he walks. Its just when he stands still its to upright. Should be more loose.
I believe they changed the stance just a little. Its not a big deal just would of liked a better stance but its okay.

What I hate about the game is that the online matches have a pause menu. First 2 matches i was about to win, the mother fuckers rage quit. I was pissed. I wish they would do something about it. They should know that Fighting Games online should never have a pause menu.

Plus on block.
1. The soundtrack. It's really, really, really boring and bland.
Luthor's Lab's/Insurgency theme is the only good stage music in this game IMO.

Though i'd rather the whole soundtrack be more high energy like Marvel theme's(sorry guys but lets be real here). Fighting games need music to get the players pumped.

One thing that really annoys me is how a lot of the characters have a move that requires a back-forward motion that can easily work as a down-forward motion. For instance, Batman anti-air batarang is down-back, so why isn't his straight one down-forward? And almost all of Green Lantern's specials are back-forward.

If the move has the characters sliding, running, or launching themselves at the opponent, then a back-forward motion is fine, but I think any projectile based move should be either down-forward or down-back.

Seriously, with Cyborg this shit is fucking murder sometimes.

That's why the MP3 was created. Just pick, listen, and get pumped!

-Online is pretty meh at best. It's not terrible but not that great either, hard to learn anything on it at times besides very basic match up stuff.

-The fanboys and over-hype men(non-gaming issue). "OMG I'm maining DLC char day 1!!" *drops char in 2 days for next DLC* I just get tired of hearing who's the ultra mega fan of some character rather than who has good strats and can help others. It makes me fear for this games longevity at times.

-Music is dull and you can't play your playlists on PSN over it. I honestly mute my game and just play music on my PC.

-Game feels like MK in some ways and in other ways doesn't. In fact this is both a good and bad thing. I think dashing feels way more limited than MK because your dash is active longer and you can't cancel it on reaction.

-I don't like how jumping feels like you have little control, just like MK. Especially the height of jumping(exclude some chars who have air dashes or instant air moves).

This is all my opinion of course

- Interactibles take skill out of the game. And all this talk about just backdash is dumb. MB dash and punish does work, but smart players will take notice and laugh at you for burning meter just because they acted like they want to throw something at you.
A fighting game should always be you against the player/character, not you against player/character/cute fast unblockables.

- Zoning. This is not only related to fireballs. It's the fact that almost everything pushes you far away which is pretty dumb.

- The characters feel way too similar in the combo department. It feels like Tekken, no room for creativity. I play Joker, Harley and Flash and found their optimal combos with different enders for mixups and stuff within minutes.

I'll probably never really like this game no matter what they patch. I'm always discussing with my brother cause he really likes the game and I'm like more critical. Maybe it's because I'm a guy who always plays characters out of loyalty or looks and there's just no character I'm really attached to, I don't know. It's probably a good game but not my cup of tea.

Time will only tell the Greats
the fact that a lot of intractable are unblockable and some are OP basically to me anyone else feel the same but im not asking to get rid of them i just don't like how strong they are

Too old for this Shit
Still.. From the demo til now...

The fact that a character gets smashed the way they do.. Yet always pop back up to one knee.. Drives me nuts... Nightwing is the only character who goes down properly once defeated.. Flat on his back. I understand the "super humans" not being laid out (Superman, WW, etc..) but Joker, Harley, Bats, and any other human should be laid out the same as Dick... Flat!

I have 3 Issues

Wake Ups being nearly useless: This is an issue with a lot of characters, leads to some really stupid stuff happening. The characters that do have good wake up tend to be amazing as well.

Chip damage being high: Stuff like blocking on reaction should be good, look at DS bullets that barely do chip....then look at NIghtwing who can do 50% on chip damage alone. Blocking is there for a reason.

Interactables being unblockable: Seroiusly, why on earth would you allow for something that basically reaches the entire screen be unblockables? Add that to the fact that nearly all do 15%+ and its stupid.

Aww shit <REDACTED DUE TO FEELINGS> its Shapzam
The imbalance really, the top tier are too top tier. Superman, Batman, Aquaman and Cyborg need to be brought down to a more reasonable level.

Pushblock nw... that should solve that problem.

Things I don't like :

-walk speed
-how god damn strong zoning is in this game
-did I mention walk speed?
-INTERACTABLES

besides that, I actually do like the game quite a bit. holding back to block and lack of dash cancelling took some getting used to, but it doesn't make much of a difference in the end.

The fact that I have to make good reads, meanwhile my opponent is on autopilot and doing derp-de-derp moves I.e. 3 button frame traps, safe slides, jumping constantly etc. it depends as well.

Jump ins are way too negative while others are tremendously positive.

Only a group of characters aren't free when it comes to jump-ins.

Certain properties make no sense.

I just feel like, at its current state, it's way too scrub-friendly and I'm sick of it......

The lack of good anti-airs is appalling: Aquaman being a major exception (and Green Lantern with meter).

Hard to time dashes between zoning at first because they are not cancelable. It feels clunky to me because of that.

Why are most wake-ups useless? I always seem to get stuffed. I would say 1/5 are successful for me. It seems the opponent can just mash attack buttons at will to keep me grounded.

Only other thing that bothers me is cross-ups can be so hard to deal with when knocked down. It feels so hard to tell for certain characters if their attack will cross up or not.

Complaints, without mentioning balance too much, only system mechanics

- The netcode sucks, they should've outsourced it or something
- The music sucks, needs umk3 music dlc
- On some PS3s the game goes into slow motion
- Can't skip the win poses
- Training mode settings don't save
- Input buffer being MUCH smaller for blocked jump-ins than on hit, makes the game look like crap since players only do strings they can mash out.
- For MK inputs, making d,d/f and d,d/b count for df and db moves respectively. SF inputs are a must right now especially for stick players.
- Other input things, you can't repeat an input for a string if you want to cancel it, i.e. 223~special cannot be input as 2233~special, but it can be input as 2223~special
- You can input b,f and d,f/d,b special from holding crouch or walking back, but not inside of strings or after blocking something. For example you can't hold down, 1~df1 to get a down jab into a special, you have to be at neutral before the jab, or go to neutral after the jab, or be at d/f or d/b when doing the jab. You can't hold back, input a string, then do a b,f/hcf special, you have to go to another direction/neutral first. If you're walking back, and can input hcf moves, but if you block something and continue holding back, you can't input a hcf special without hitting another direction/neutral.
- Input for wakeup attack is awkward
- Gaining meter for actions caused by meter-burned attacks. Example, Aquaman gaining meter for the blocked hits on df1~5. Games before have already solved this problem. Guilty Gear does not allow meter to be gained for a short time after meter is used, or they could just not allow mb moves to cause meter gain for the user. I guess it's all preference though.

I'm still not use to the character movement. Like why does Dashing feel so sluggish? I would like to Dash and quickly recover :(

This is my first NRS game, btw.
