Yeah honestly SweetJohnnyCage has been nothing but great...reassuring us from last year as well as keeping us posted with information as well as checking back regularly answering our questions which you don't see much of here. I'm glad to be coming back to ECT.

Speaking of which, SJC I only registered for MK but I've been playing SCV a bit for the past week and want to sign up for it just to have fun and enter another tournament how can I go about that without registering for the event again?

The fact that I made a really dick post about last year's ECT and you responded with questions on how to make it better as well as things you've already taken precaution on for next time isn't just hard to find, but impossible in other TO's. I also have a good reputation of being rude to other TO's... calling one a "little bitch" while I was playing in losers finals of a tournament wasn't the wisest thing I've done in my life. Thank you for putting up with people like me.

It takes a good mix of specific MK organizers as well as the best TO's like yourself and Joe to make these tournaments as good as they can get.

Ah I see. Yea, I won't lie. I cheered against Eric V over the loudspeaker at ECT1 when he was playing Joe in the grand finals for the Evo 5v5 team spot. But now I just stay neutral lol.

Haha, it's hard to not cheer for your friends, but it does break all professionalism.

I just didn't like the guy in this case; would have called him out regardless.

Also, I need a room at ECT. I've relied on Dancock the past 2 majors since he sets everything up... but DanCock are you going or no? Otherwise, anyone else I could room with?

not going. No one would commit to staying in the hotel with me other then storms so I decided not to go. I kind of got hosed at winter brawl when 2 guys backed out and final round cost me wayyyy too much lol. So I'm trying to be smart.

SwiftTomHanks just listened to the Woolay Show and good shit I look forward to ECT even more now.

ECT3 had 137 entrants WITHOUT the random Capcom players...the Jersey local scene and randoms will definitely make a good showing with 45 registered already.

For an EVO major, ECT3 I believe was the highest amount MK has ever had. Final Round was close I think.

Even though MLG is the same weekend, hopefully that can inspire more people to come out since CDjr, REO, Maxter, CD, Curbo, Riu48(?), Detroit all won't be there. 1st place is up for grabs, and tons of spots in top 8 could go to anyone!

That said there's still a huge list of amazing players and the competition is no joke; j360, ktsmith, ac1984, mikemetroid, rapzilla, insuperable(?), magnetohalfway, phase3, blackula, kevo, and a whole lot more.

ok you guys get me so hyped up for this shit lol theres now a 10% chance i can come now.. trying to get people to cover my shifts at work..

plus a bunch of people are saying this will be their last tournament i want to be able to say good bye and stuff.. and be nice to actually take some pictures with you guys.. i have zero pictures with you guys :/

I really want to go up there friday and stay all weekend to play casuals.
Is there anyone that would let me and an offline buddy stay with them? I don't mind sleeping on the floor or paying part of the hotel

Edit: I'll teach anyone how to play kabal and/or how to poke out of his pressure.

We're looking for about 5-6 people to help run brackets at ECT! We'll cover your venue and tournament charges and you'll be getting a staff shirt as well! We'd need your services from 11am-12am Saturday as well as 9am-4pm on Sunday. Pools will be 16 man every 2 hours, so it's nothing too challenging. We prefer those with experience, but please let us know either way!
