Pig Brings Mileena, Kenshi and CSZ, totally different characters, making a much wider spectrum to the USA team than what CDjr could, as far as ''play style'' characters go. Pig would be the only USA player to have a ''brick wall'' type character with Kenshi, which will counter allot more than CDjr's characters, no other USA player but will provide that as such a high level.

While I agree with most of the points above, the whole idea of the 5v5 was EU vs US. Problem is none of the EU players will probably be at MLG.

Also, that color fucked my eyes up

i should have phrased it better, i was agreeing with you but if you don't have any real experience on how to deal with Jax then he is much more dangerous.

Second part was more of a question to ask yourself

Honestly Foxy is the only one in EU that impresses the hell out of me. He can give USA serious trouble IMO but I dont think the other guys can hang with like Maxter Detroit REO Pig CDJr. Well see though. EVO will be hype. Keep in mind the top guys in the US train together on a daily basis. People dont realize how huge that is.

Doesn't the UK have Gamerbase? Which is a weekly event just like VSM? That UK's top players go out of their way to get to for offline casuals?

Sounds like a UK version of VSM if you ask me.

Nice to see Hollywood PL come visit us common folk. Tom Brady has to be in it period, and personal I think EGP tyrant should be in it. Not sure why Foxy the expert of MK9 is being considered? he wont travel to any american base tournament, but best believe he will critique the hell out of the players.

World Championship 3 months after the game's release. Point is, one tournament held when the game was brand new is not an indicator as to who the best in the world is. I only used KL as an example of how much the game has changed. If you look at REO's match with him, he got caught by that low hat shenanigans a lot. That wouldn't fly nowadays....because it doesn't exist in that form.

Mind you, I'm not underestimating PL's skills. He's shown he's an amazing player. But I'm sick of people claiming he's the best in the world due to one tournament. We'll see what he's made of in MLG.

by all means think that EU would be no match for the USA, the worst thing you can do is underestimate your opponent. :)

AC, I like your playing, and I have no problem with you what so ever, but you have a real bee in your bonnet about something when I post, and I have no idea what it is. You reply to my posts as If I am openly attacking you or your allies, and that really isn't the case. I don't get you at all sometimes.

If PL doesn't want to do it (i'm not saying he doesn't.) then IMO the team should be this...

CD Jr (Jax / Smoke)
CD (Kitana)
Maxter (Cage, Cyrax, Raiden, Strkyer)
Reo(Kabal)
Pig of the hut(Kenshi, Mileena.)

In here you have the best Jax in the US, arguably the best smoke, the best kitana, the best cage, cyrax, and strkyer. The best Kabal and IMO the best Kenshi.)

That will not be beat, it won't even be close. An OCV is most likely.
