Yeah i see a lot of hatred for sub in that Chart. Sub loses 8 MUs 7-3??Cmon i think Tom is trolling us now. No way Mileena loses to CSZ, Liu Kang, Ermac and Raiden. I think Mileena only loses to 3 ppl and they are Cage, sonya and kenshi.

I agree with most of this, and I agree that sub zero is not good. That being said I also find the amount of 7-3's listed for this character completely obnoxious.

Officially vouching for Liu Kang not beating Mileena. I'd call it a 5-5 but I personally get headaches from Mileena.

The one thing that sticks out at me is how does Kitana beat Sindel 6.5-3.5? I rarely hear this by Sindel and Kitana players as worse than 5-5. Especially considering it's Sindel's worst MU in this chart, worse than more obvious choices like Raiden.

Yeah I don't know about that. I could see it being 6-4 Kitana though. Both sides tend to call it even based in the stalemate zoning game but I think the footsies favor Kitana.

I still can't buy Kitana vs Liu in her favor. Even at best.

My main issue with the list is the kit vs sindel number. Couple other questionable ones, but that one is the biggest.


And I'm hoping that good baraka player shows up at winter brawl. No way baraka matches up like that.

But good list overall. I'd like to see what the kummunitys list ends up looking like.

lol at the people thinking all of the 3-7's for Sub being a trololooololol. Go play sub against any of those characters and their top representative.... ft10. You may win 3 times... maybe.

I think the gripes are going to be tick tacky... but I can understand some of the match ups swaying half points. I think 16bit has a point with Kitana v. Liu Kang.
I think the online warriors over rate Sonya, and severely underestimate Kenshi.
Notice that there are like... 8 characters in the middle separated by only a TOTAL of 10pts or so. That is ... amazing. Those are all characters that show up in tourneys.
The only real movement that will happen is in the top spots... where 1.5 points separate the tippy top. You can have all the gripes you want... but at the end of the day... the numbers that YOU come up with will resemble what is being shown here. Barring any new information. *cough complete frame data cough*

Good chart. I agree will 99% of everything about cage, except Reptile vs. Cage to me that is a 7-3. Cage has to play stupid and not fully pressure reptile.

Heres an Idea. Get all of our character reps, and match-up against each other. Even if they are not the best version of the character. They have a full understanding of their character. It wont be a PERFECT match-up chart but it will be a community based chart. One that we make. Each match is best of 10. record and fill in chart.

It doesn't matter what any Baraka player has to say unfortunately. Until he makes a top 8 at any tournament, everyone's gonna think he's the worst, no matter how much matchup knowledge we have.

According to this, Sub gets blown up more than any other character in the game. 8 3-7 matchups is terrible lol. That makes himless viable than Sheeva, in my opinion.

I respect Tom a huge amount when it comes to his views on this game and Sub-Zero as a character, but I can't believe the matchup chart for Sub-Zero. That's a bit ridiculous, to be honest, especially losing to Reptile which is supposed to be a good matchup for Sub-Zero.

As far as Smoke's MU's according to Tom, I have slight disagreements here and there but for the most part I concur.
