Do you understand fighting games at all? Is the character a little to good? Sure yeah he needs to be toned down but broken? What the hell are you talking about? He's easy to play and probably doesn't lose many match ups but he is nowhere near broke, no one is in this game.

Why are people comparing easy to use to broken? and if he's so broke why aren't shinnoks mopping everyone up at tournaments? Simple his games easy to learn and it's straightforward but the character isn't this ridiculously OP pile of shit he's being made out to be.

Anyway give me a few reasons why you think he's so broke...

Seriously?

Your telling me Shinnok is a little too good but he's not broken.

Then you assume people are insisting that he is broken because he's easy to use.

Then you say, no character in this game is broken.

Then you ask why isn't Shinnok blowing people up, right after Shinnok/Cowboy just blew people up.

Definitely not taking any side here, but have any of you actually played an in person FT10 with something on the line? Shit is looooooong and stressful. In anything but a shutout, that could easily take over an hour.

I feel like someone could definitely get burned out playing a FT10 with something on the line. I personally would never FT10 MM.




Plus it's over an hour of BONE SHAPER SHINNOK. Do we really want to see that?

What ft10's do you watch?

MKX is probably one of the fastest fighters out due to high damage and probability of opening an opponent up. No way it's go over an hour. USF4 ft10's rarely break that mark and that's a much slower game. Only game that has a chance of going that long is KoF.

I truly believe his recent accomplishments were more about the Broken character, than it was about the player.

There were ZERO Shinnoks in Top 8 at EVO, the World Championships for Mortal Kombat and the most important tournament in the scene (and this was right after Shinnok buffs before people started learning the Boneshaper matchup really well).

Regardless, this argument of yours that using a top tier character somehow nullifies someones accomplishments against the best players in the world (who are also using top tier characters) is quite frankly bullshit. You don't have to like Woundcowboy or think he's Top 5. I certainly don't think he is one of the 5 best players in the world either. But if the character was super broken as you claim, don't you think the majority of the best players in the world would have picked him up with thousands of dollars on the line?

The fact of the matter is, pretty much every major tournament for MKX has had a wide variety of characters in Top 8. Shinnok is a very strong character, is easy to pick up and learn, and could probably use a few slight normalizations. But he's not broken, and I don't think you could lay out a concise or convincing argument why he's SO much better than other top tiers. No character in MKX is legitimately broken at the moment, regardless what some people with agendas might tell you (and this is coming from someone who doesn't even play Shinnok or top 5 characters).

With all of that said, WoundCowboy is running scared at the moment. You can't talk that much trash and not put your money where your mouth is. We need King vs. Cowboy. Step up to the plate boys, get this done.

I don't like any character in this game other than him, I am currently learning many top characters but having little to no enjoyment doing so using other characters. There's nothing appealing about any of them to me. The only one that's appealing is kenshi and he is mid tier and mid tier in this game means "potentially get lucky and make top 8 then get wrecked" I know this is incredibly hard concept for people to understand but I just don't enjoy the game at all using a character I dislike

He's not getting grief just cause. He's made FK out to be a free YOMI jobber. With that stance, you can't avoid grief if you choose not to accept a FT10.

It's difficult, particularly with online. But if we're to assume guys like Foxy and the twins spend the majority of their training versus other UK/European competition, doesn't their recent evo placings somewhat legitimise the level of their competition in the UK?

I stopped responding because I have nothing else to say. A FT5 will prove who the better player is because it's enough to not allow anyone to be gimmicked out. It is very rare that I beat/lose to someone in a FT10 who I didn't beat or lose to in a FT5. 10 is redundant.

I have nothing else to say. I will not play the role of a kid in some cheese ass after school special that is convinced to do drugs. I am confident and no irrelevant, fake OGs or random online players that I don't care about are going to make me change my mind.
