Nobody has any idea how any of them will really play. There is no hard confirm for Cage or Sonya and given MK's history, they will probably have a completely new normal moveset so it's all a moot point.

What this really boils down to is people don't want to see Sonya or Cage again as there are other characters that deserve spots on the roster which I agree with, but if they are in I'm all for it.

But I think Sindel has a high chance mainly because she's already involved in the story AND she is one of the few that has a vast variety in move set that can easily be taken far with variations. So to me, if I were a creative director and whatnot, it'd be stupid to pass up a chance like that and have 3 knock off copies of the originals let alone each other be the replacement if they're already spawning back the dead

EXACTLY BRO! They think the reason we are mad is because we think they'll play too similar. That's not it at all. I have a fucking imagination, I know they'll play completely different, that's not the point. I just feel like those character slots could've been used for other characters that haven't had a chance to shine in like 10+ years.

This. I have not one problem with the roster. Not at all. I just don't like the fact that the MK universe has some characters who have some crazy potential and they aren't being used. Honestly as whack as this may sound I was hoping for Shujinko. Like a "I have my own moves and don't need to copy anyone else's." Shujinko.

cassie has 1 move from sonya (air grab) and 1 from johnny (nut punch) since her shadow kick isnt a special, if 1 move makes a character too similar we shouldnt have reptile and sub zero or scorpion and ermac etc etc you have no idea how they play please stop saying they dont belong

Besides, I've already said it, but: If Johnny defeated Shinnok, then he is totally playable. How would you feel if the final battle of the Netherrealm Wars is a fucking cutscene? Imagine if the fight between Liu Kang and Shang Tsung were a cutscene. Wouldn't that be disappointing? Don't you want to kick Shinnok's ass?
