It is hilarious that the obscure impossible to decipher posts get directly translated into characters, and yet this one he has literally served on a silver platter and there is tons of doubt.

And just to clarify some stuff;
- Ermac didn't teach Kenshi "everything". He just taught him the TK Slam, which he is missing in MK9. All Kenshi's powers come from his sword and the souls of his ancestors, which have been talking to and guiding him since he first got blinded.

- Kenshi never got vengeance in the original timeline either, he got his shit pushed in by Mavado and wound up tagging along with Sub Zero, which he eventually abandoned because he had no interest in joining Lin Kuei.

- Kenshi got into Outworld by befriending becoming a temporary member of the Special Forces and he later teamed with JC in Armageddon.

Honestly I think Ermac and Kenshi would make more sense than just having one of them be in the story. They're both alive and would most likely interact after the events that took place, because i'm pretty sure Ermac trained Kenshi or it was the other way around or some shit. Either way it would be awesome to have both of them in instead of just one.

Also, in the 2nd boot it looks like there's a cape of some sort or a coat? Kenshi was wearing a trenchcoat in his alt in MK9. Maybe his new costume is a variation of that one.

I'm just excited for the Goro gameplay trailer, which will be released eventually.. Hopefully?

AFAIK the only actual reference to Ermac's teachings to Kenshi is MKDA's Konquest mode which specifically says Ermac taught him the TK slam and then you practice it so there can be no mistake. TK Slam in that game (and all others, including MK9) being the one handed grab and bounce move that most people just call lift. Ermac has had it his entire career, and Kenshi only had it post teachings (MKDA-A).

What Kenshi does in his MK9 throw is his TK Toss move, which is at best equivalent to Ermac's TK Throw, except Kenshi had TK Toss in Deadly Alliance and Ermac didn't get TK Throw until Deception.

You seem to be colluding to keep Kenshi out of the game thinking it will make things better for Jade. I would buy this logic if Kenshi was Jade's only terrible matchup, but there were still multiple characters that beat Jade 7-3 or higher without using a single projectile. The fact of the matter in this context is, Jade sucks. Sagat was not nerfed in subsequent revisions of SF4 based on how badly he beats Dan.

As I stressed earlier, do you really believe Kenshi will have all of the untested stuff he did from MK9 in a game that's being Quality Assured by one of the most vocal Kenshi activists in the community? No chance, lol.

I don't see why people even compare how he played in the last game. Almost every characters combos, special moves, etc etc are being altered between games. It makes no sense to think he'd play even remotely close to the old game. Even if he played EXACTLY the same as MK9, he still probably wouldn't be as top tier because everyone else will play different.
