As said in Jerry Maguire, "SHOW ME THE MONEY". Show us Flash players beating Aquamen in tournament and then we can get an argument going here. Not trying to be disrespectful, but you gotta put your money up front with some facts before we jump to 5-5.

I haven't played him offline besides like 3 casual games at UFGT where I won the first game and then he won a few and that was it. Other than that, we've only played online where the score is irrelevant when talking MU numbers. And LBSH, the amount of skill required to play AM at the highest level and the amount of skill required to play Flash at the highest level are incredibly different. AM can be picked up and played at a high level by anyone. The same can't be said for Flash. If anything, I think my casual games against other AM players mean more towards determining a MU number than Theo's casual games with other Flash players do.

So he beats you online then beat you offline in a short set but this doesn't matter?

I agree let's be serious about Aquaman. He is broke but no, these pocket Aquamen or mid level Aquamen are not playing match ups at a high level. There's a reason Theo is winning majors and the other Aquemen are not placing. I don't lose or even go 5-5 with Aquamen like that. I beat them in a terrible match. I wouldn't be satisfied going 5-5 with Bifu Insayne.

Wasn't MMH considered top tier by most people before he had results? REO had a 7th place at Summer Jam, then he wasn't doing anything until January. Even Jupiter wasn't winning Breaks until early this year. Sonya and Cyrax didn't even really have results reflective of their tier until after Injustice came out. IMO results are what solidifies but you can still use critical thinking and a good understanding of the game to place characters without it.

Yes, you can. So when we have a bunch of great players using critical thinking and a good understanding of the game to theorize that Flash has losing matches it would make sense to ask for results.

Well I beat Insayne 7-1 in my hotel room so... yeah.

Theo beat me in a few matches offline, not even worth calling a set. And not to mention this was my first time EVER in the games life playing an AM offline so I wasn't even that familiar with how the MU played out offline at that moment in time.

I'm not sure you fully understand how drastically different the Flash vs AM MU is when comparing online to offline. Theo is obviously going to be better at it because he can still face good Flash players offline whereas the only time I get to have those games are when I go to a US major. The only time I ever got to play it out was with Syknis at UFGT and against a couple AMs at EVO. My lack of experience in the offline MU yet still doing as well as I do says something. It wasn't until I taught Bio how to play AM that I actually got some offline experience at home.

Theo is just simply better than the Flash players he plays with so he thinks AM wins the MU.

It's not. The argument for Bane, Flash, Superman, and whoever else can't be solidified yet. It's all speculation. I'm probably biased because it's a shitty matchup for me, and I could be wrong too.

I am not saying the match is decided by those results but when the best Aquaman is saying AM wins and you're the one disagreeing but you don't have the results to back it up you can't blame us for being skeptical.

I disagree with the above logic. Theo's results are a testament to him as a player. But it's not like every tournament he's won he's had to go through a Flash gauntlet (though I have no doubt that he would have beaten any Flash, no offense to any Flash player). Therefore, his results back up the fact that Theo and Aquaman are both goldlike, not that Aquaman beats Flash or that the match-up is even. Honeybee's only ever played one Aquaman in tournament so whatever the result, it won't constitute enough data to back up any claim, let alone that Flash vs. Aquaman is even (I have no idea about the match-up, by the way. I'm just debating the logic).

Plus frames don't mean anything when they don't lead to anything worth while. He has no way of utilising his plus frames effectively.

Depends on your playstyle. Everything has a use. Have u been cornered by a good Cyborg? The corner is his sweet spot. We all know his short commings mid screen. Im sure his plus frames can be used in the corner.
