I made the original thread and I don't even want Skarlet in much.

I don't understand how commando hints at Kano if at the time we didn't know he had a variation called commando

Reptile's race is not originary from outworld they're saurians, but lets hope the hint is reptile.

I'm really lookin forward to skarlet.

In the kano game play video the jungle ed boon said that a race once lived there maybe reptilian culture like reptile and chameleon it's very possible

reptile's long lost race... reptile is the main villain... attempting to restore his homeworld!!!! or with that dragon king shit

btw for those of you discussing character selects the characters have shifted numerous times so far i wouldn't go to far with that just google character select screens.

The key word is "ruins" as in Mayan ruins from the past.

Ed Boon's eyebrows --> eyebrows --> I browse --> I browse the internet --- > Internet is browsed on a computer --> Cyrax is a walking computer --->Cyrax confirmed illuminati computer --> Ed Boon's eyebrows are illuminati --> Cyrax is Ed boon's eyebrows

Therefore Cyrax is confirmed to be the final boss of MKX

It also makes the character of Noob Saibot tragic in the sense of how much he defied Quan Chi in life.

Sareena could have a demoness style with the variation addition, maybe devil horns.

I really think sareena makes even more sense when her two team members are in too, both subs where she did got romantically attached to are dead, if she is in, it will be mostly because of Quan Chi, but i do hope they add Kia and Jataaka too, the role would make much more sense.

And i fuckin need this damn it.

I think the Ketchup & Mustard one was obvious enough that I'm letting myself get my hopes up for Cyrax. He hasn't made any crazy hints yet that didn't mean something.

Omg...yes! @Eddy Wang and I have been championing for Sareena, Kia, and Jatakka for WHO KNOWS HOW LONG?!!! It would be so awesome if all three could make it in.

That hint was pretty right-on-the-nose even for Boon. I wouldn't be surprised if she is only a story character and not playable though. Maybe that's just what I'm hoping for because she's just kind of blah though.

Adding all 3 with 3 variations each is just about impossible. They simply don't have enough weight to take up 3 whole spots, especially in a game with relatively few returning characters. Plus having them would mean that the story totally has to revolve around Quan-Chi. Sareena herself might have an outside chance. The other 2 have next to none. But I disagree that Sareena needs the other 2 to be relevant though. Maybe Kia and Jataaka just shows up in the story mode but Sareena betrays Quan-Chi or something to become important enough to warrant a spot of her own. That's the absolute most I would expect. Personally, I wouldn't even bet on Sareena making it.

I've been thinking about Skarlet's story from MK9.

She was on a mission from Shao Kahn to watch Quan Chi and kill him if he plotted against Khan. Now that Khan is dead and she released from his control does she serve the next emperor (Kotal Kahn) or is her quest still intact aka a never ending hunt for Quan Chi.

Either way, her presence certainly is a line of story that can't be ignored. She is very likely to be in

I'm also upset that nobody wants Nightwolf to return. His story states
Meanwhile, Raiden and Liu Kang try to convince the Elder Gods to intervene, but the Elder Gods refuse, stating that Shao Kahn has not broken any rules and that invasion of another realm itself is not a penalty. Having achieved nothing, Raiden and Liu Kang return to Earthrealm just in time to witness Nightwolf sacrificing himself to kill Sindel.

Perhaps this will put his as an Elder God in Raiden's place or maybe he is really dead...I just want him to return. I would be fine if he returned in another form (like a half man / half wolf or Elder God).

I could see Sareena having a purpose when Quan Chi loses Scorpion, having Scorpion too long is a foolish gamble since we all know Scorpion is a ticking time bomb once he discovers the betrayal.

Because of this betrayal in the original timeline, Scorpion basically won MK4 inadvertently saving the realms for everyone by taking Quan Chi back to hell.

Granted Quan Chi has many new undead servants now, however they'll likely not stay. For one, if Liu Kang becomes a god, his main goal would be undoing Raiden's failures.
