@gamemk I mean you can look at it like that, but honestly even if their are balance issues or other issues with the games NRS has made, one thing that will keep people coming back is things like just hanging out with the community at tournaments, the hype matches/rivalries, the hotel shenanigans, and etc. Also just because of our general love for NRS games. MKX will be the same way. Either way I always go by this "No fighting game is ever completely balanced because that is impossible to do without making every character exactly the same".

You don't honestly believe that we wouldn't be having this conversation if BG or MMH would've won right? The difference is that those characters are somewhat flashy while AM is just trident rush all day every day

Shout outs to Pig for staying solid. Old tournament Pig reared his head a few times like that wakeup party against Doomie but calm collected Pig clutched it out in the end.

Shout outs to Austin for his new twitter profile picture. Looking tight. Also good job losing to DD so we can continue to hear Ducky call the mu unwinnable.

Great tournament guys. Very fun to watch.

It might not be as bad as vortexes, but it's damn close. The amount of chip it does and meter it builds back is beyond stupid.

I would rather get hit by Aquaman's trident rush but I'd rather block Batgirl's vortex. I think they're equal parts stupid lol

I once lost 100% to a Batgirl that got the first hit, and I guessed wrong on the vortex 2 times in a row after the initial mixup... I'll never forget that match,,,,

"Ok... she did an overhead, probably switching to a low now..."
"Dam! Did another overhead... well, after two in a row, she'll almost definitely go low again..."
"OH DEAR GOD ANOTHER OVERHEAD"

and i think the myth of a "weak neutral game" is horse shit by now. how the fuck can she have a weak neutral with

-two projectiles, one is multi directional, one can be canceled and on hit traps the opponent free
-track teleport from ground and mid air
-mid air cancels and retreating teleport
-fast dash with no recovery
-good range low vortex starter
-FAST ADVANCING ARMOR BREAKING MULTI HIT SPECIAL WHICH ENDS IN MIXUP AND IS SAFE ON WAKEUP
-strings are hard to punish (for me)

im so tired of the batgirl downplay, i think most of that is behind us though

I can't remember the last time I cheered that much for Chris G. His Green Arrow play was nothing short of stunning. You know the guy probably has zero Zatanna experience, yet after a single game he was already blocking resets. His defense and download speed are both unreal.
