Ugh, I was really looking forward to MKX being the first next-gen fighting game to really push the new systems graphically (I found KI underwhelming).

I don't think half the people in the FGC are even gamers, so to them it looks like $400 investment, if you're spending that much for one game than you're an idiot. There's future games releasing and all current multiplatform games you can just get on XONE/PS4.

Cant wait to get the new MKX Xbone stick fuck killer instinct.

The killer instinct stick by madcatz is better than any of the MK/Injustice sticks that have been released by PDP. The KI stick brings a sanwa joystick and sanwa buttons. Its a quality stick that is easily customized, you can even customize the art easily. If you dont like the sanwa stick cause of its loose spring or long throw, you can easily remedy that with a stiffer spring (they have as high as 9lb springs)and an oversized kowal actuator, or better yet, ditch the sanwa and get a seimitsu ls 56-01 which has a 2lb spring, short throw and deadzone, and super fast engage. Dont like balltops, you can use a battop on both sticks as well.

Theres a reason the sanwa and seimitsu both square gated are the standard in most arcade fighting game cabs. Happ sticks used to be good until they started making their parts in china. Also, they are impractical for modern fighting games. Read here so you can see one of its major issues:

When a joystick has a small deadzone and a hard spring, slight inaccuracies in the neutral position can compound erroneous movements, especially on the diagonals. Happ/IL joysticks have a problem in this area of precision. You can look at the bottom of Happ/IL joysticks and spin the shaft and watch the actuator swivel around a bit (some samples are made better than others; if you are lucky, you might get a good one). You can then feel how engage distances can vary at different places of rotation. The depth of the Happ/IL shaft complicates this precision problem too. This is the biggest problem with Happ/IL joysticks.
