With Slayer quitting, they may have no Superman players. Incomplete meta.

I dunno about that. Slayer might be the last dedicated Superman they have who's there every week, but even if he does actually quit there's still PBoard, Tyrant's Superman, Chef has used Superman in tournament before, Krayzie has pulled out Superman during 2 of the 3 WNFs I've been at, Theo would probably start using his Superman again if someone started beating his Aquaman with a character that Supes handles well, and I'm sure there are others I'm missing. SoCal will never be absent of Superman

An NRS Cup would be sick! Virtual Fighter is having their own cup this year as well, Tekken had their global championship last year, as well as Capcom having their Capcom Cup. Also unfortunate to hear what happened to STH at NEC.

Holy shit, didn't think of this way, but if Pig didn't bring his 4G card for NEC, injustice could have probably not have made EVO, considering Mr. Wizard mentioned watching NEC was one his reasons for including it this year (unless he only watched top 8, and not pools). Could be exaggerating, but damn, just the thought.

Man stuff like that is why streams are so important.. That's why I cringe every time I hear someone say something like "streams don't matter".

A lot of people keep saying how this game is so great since the last patch, the balance is so good, look at all the characters in top 8. That's all great, and seeing the characters we have in top 8 has been awesome but there's a problem.
This game has a lot of bad match ups. 3-7's or hard 4-6's or whatever you want to call them. Match ups where the characters on the screen are almost as important as the people playing them.
The bad match ups are pretty well spread out. A lot of characters in the upper half of the tier have one or two. The otherside isn't nearly as well distributed. A few characters have more than their fair share of 7-3 match ups. Everyone knows what characters I'm talking about. But for some reason we aren't seeing too many of those characters.
For example, look at KiT top 8. How many of those would have had a problem if you'd replaced their opponents if finals or their pool with, say, a high level Aquaman player?
So where the fuck are the good players playing Aquaman? We're starting to see it. Look at that Rico Suave Aquaman.

This game, at this point in time is not badly balanced. I hate it when people say "oh my GOD!! 7-3 matchup!!11"

Just the fact that Joker himself only has 2-3 should be an indicator on the balance of this game.

Like to say it's not unwinnable. Has to be played a lot, because there's random little tricks in the mu. It is possible to get through the zoning, and we do have a lot of oki on him. It's a difficult matchup, but not unwinnable.
