It's not as easy as just adding more setups, the OP's question is extremely biased and the results are pretty frivolous because of it, etc etc etc

This has all been said a million times before. TOs know that we want 3/5. Kicking and screaming about it isn't going to make it happen. Maybe if more people would actually go to tournaments, there would be enough revenue to buy more equipment to accommodate requests like this. Maybe if more people were willing to bring setups (and actually DO IT, not just say they are and not) and loan them out for the weekend to be used for tournament, this could more feasibly happen. That's assuming that we're not frying breakers in hotel ballrooms not designed to deliver our electricity requirements in the first place.

Im sorry but i cant accept the " more people we can afford more setups" players invest alot of money to make these trips and desereve a good experiance until TO's realize that things cant grow after talking with reno alot at KIT i cant wait till his plans happen becuase reno knows how to do things.

I'm having a hard time understanding what you're trying to say because there's no punctuation. But from what I can make out... I'm sorry you can't accept that it takes money to buy things, and generous people to donate things. It doesn't matter how much people are spending on their trip, it's the venue fees that matter obviously. I don't know what you're talking about when you mention Reno and his plans, but if he is planning on taking action to make things better then good luck to him. Hopefully he is successful.

I really want 3/5 format throughout if possible . As a flash player, I know it sounds counter intuitive, I really need that extra game to break down opponents. Also, I think with the damage that most players are getting now it allows players to showcase a lot of unique setups etc. 2/3 feels like you got your back to a wall from the get go for such a fast moving game. It would be like playing ST 2/3 again which is horrific lol.

Final Round website still says stage rules are picked and then 50/50 pick after character change? I thought we were all done with that?

My point is if your a TO you should be prepared for your tournament its not the players job to make that possible that excuse is a sad one with no bearing.

Yeah AK people will ask if we can get an adjustment for at least the stage pick rules to be double random and guage interest in doing pools not just winners/losers to be 3/5.

I'm glad everyone seems to be on the same page now and I'll do my part here in ATL. Every Injustice tournament I host will be 3/5 with no exceptions. If TO's feel 3/5 will take to long, they need to get more setups to accommodate the IGAU 3/5 standard.

Man, it's been talked about already though. It all comes down to a case-by-case basis and I'm sure TOs are running the longest sets they feasibly can.

I did like that the top 8 was 3/5. My concern is that this would cause tournaments to run FOREVER. As it is, tournaments are pretty much all day events that can run late. Imagine if we added the 3/5 set to that.

Unless we can get more setups, I still stand on 2/3 pools and 3/5 from Top 16 on.

We've done 3/5 throughout with ~30 entrants at CEO Never Sleeps back in November and it took too long.

We're doing it again this weekend at CEO Winterfest, see how it goes.

At Kumite, the top 8 for Injustice ran for the scheduled two hours even with the 3/5 format. In comparison, the top 8 for Tekken Tag 2 almost ran for four hours.

I think that the way it will go is more towards the 3/5 sets but it really means players have to be on the ball when it comes time for there pool! i loved @Vandy idea about a badge with the pool and times your assigned that way there is no last min need to check the sites or run to the room where all the pools are kept. i actually think this is the first time between KIT and CEO that i didn't have to look for Chris G so we could run his match had a few of them but chris was actually on injustice time lol. Also with the amount of streaming that we were allotted for KIT 2/3 may have been the best cause you take all those extra rounds and donate them to another match. but thats just my thought i would like to see this game go 3/5 though

3 and a half but ya tekken is a 3 round match at a 3/5 format and they had 90 players so they still beat us lol but honestly taking it slow with integrating to the 3/5 format so we don't miss somthing that could effect the outcomes you know
