Depends really...I mean I always try to mix it up so people don't get too comfortable with my start off. Though I never use meter to start a round, I like to be conservative with my meter and if your opponent blocks or you whiff an ex, they have a combo opportunity and you don't even have one bar, must less breaker.
Backing up to create space, Down 3, down 4,sweep, throw, ducking, sometimes I'll play keepaway or rush anything to keep people guessing.
