The biggest thing is that with un-optimized combos, no setups, and a new neutral game the matches take longer. MB dash and the general walk speeds are phenomenal for movement. I agree that mkx makes it look slower, as characters in mkx have a lower jumps, less screen space, and run. Watching makes things look slower as well. I only got to play the beta once for about two hours, but all my concerns were addressed in that time.
